Joshua 8:24 ויהי And it came to pass, ככלות had made an end ישׂראל when Israel להרג of slaying את כל all ישׁבי the inhabitants העי of Ai בשׂדה in the field, במדבר in the wilderness אשׁר wherein רדפום they chased בו ויפלו fallen כלם them, and when they were all לפי on the edge חרב of the sword, עד until תמם they were consumed, וישׁבו returned כל that all ישׂראל the Israelites העי unto Ai, ויכו and smote אתה לפי it with the edge חרב׃ of the sword.
