Jeremiah 38:17-18 ויאמר Then said ירמיהו Jeremiah אל unto צדקיהו Zedekiah, כה Thus אמר saith יהוה the LORD, אלהי the God צבאות of hosts, אלהי the God ישׂראל of Israel; אם If יצא thou wilt assuredly go forth תצא thou wilt assuredly go forth אל unto שׂרי princes, מלך the king בבל of Babylon's וחיתה shall live, נפשׁך then thy soul והעיר city הזאת and this לא shall not תשׂרף be burned באשׁ with fire; וחיתה shalt live, אתה and thou וביתך׃ and thine house:

18 H518 ואם But if H3808 לא thou wilt not H3318 תצא go forth H413 אל to H8269 שׂרי princes, H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon's H5414 ונתנה be given H5892 העיר city H2063 הזאת then shall this H3027 ביד into the hand H3778 הכשׂדים of the Chaldeans, H8313 ושׂרפוה and they shall burn H784 באשׁ it with fire, H859 ואתה and thou H3808 לא shalt not H4422 תמלט escape H3027 מידם׃ out of their hand.
