Amos 9:1-4 ראיתי I saw את אדני the Lord נצב standing על upon המזבח the altar: ויאמר and he said, הך Smite הכפתור the lintel וירעשׁו may shake: הספים of the door, that the posts ובצעם and cut בראשׁ them in the head, כלם all ואחריתם the last בחרב of them with the sword: אהרג of them; and I will slay לא of them shall not ינוס he that fleeth להם נס flee away, ולא of them shall not ימלט be delivered. להם פליט׃ and he that escapeth

1 H7200 ראיתי I saw H853 את H136 אדני the Lord H5324 נצב standing H5921 על upon H4196 המזבח the altar: H559 ויאמר and he said, H5221 הך Smite H3730 הכפתור the lintel H7493 וירעשׁו may shake: H5592 הספים of the door, that the posts H1214 ובצעם and cut H7218 בראשׁ them in the head, H3605 כלם all H319 ואחריתם the last H2719 בחרב of them with the sword: H2026 אהרג of them; and I will slay H3808 לא of them shall not H5127 ינוס he that fleeth H5127 להם נס flee away, H3808 ולא of them shall not H4422 ימלט be delivered. H6412 להם פליט׃ and he that escapeth

2 H518 אם Though H2864 יחתרו they dig H7585 בשׁאול into hell, H8033 משׁם thence H3027 ידי shall mine hand H3947 תקחם take H518 ואם them; though H5927 יעלו they climb up H8064 השׁמים to heaven, H8033 משׁם thence H3381 אורידם׃ will I bring them down:

3 H518 ואם And though H2244 יחבאו they hide themselves H7218 בראשׁ in the top H3760 הכרמל of Carmel, H8033 משׁם them out thence; H2664 אחפשׂ I will search H3947 ולקחתים and take H518 ואם and though H5641 יסתרו they be hid H5048 מנגד from H5869 עיני my sight H7172 בקרקע in the bottom H3220 הים of the sea, H8033 משׁם thence H6680 אצוה will I command H853 את H5175 הנחשׁ the serpent, H5391 ונשׁכם׃ and he shall bite

4 H518 ואם And though H1980 ילכו they go H7628 בשׁבי into captivity H6440 לפני before H341 איביהם their enemies, H8033 משׁם thence H6680 אצוה will I command H853 את H2719 החרב the sword, H2026 והרגתם and it shall slay H7760 ושׂמתי them: and I will set H5869 עיני mine eyes H5921 עליהם upon H7451 לרעה them for evil, H3808 ולא and not H2896 לטובה׃ for good.
