2 the sons of Gad and the sons of Reu Ben come and say to Mosheh and to El Azar the priest and to the hierarchs of the witness, saying,
3 Ataroth and Dibon and Yazer and Nimrah and Heshbon and El Aleh and Sebam and Nebo and Beon
4 - the country Yah Veh smote at the face of the witness of Yisra El, is a land for chattel; and your servants have chattel:
5 they say, If we find charism in your eyes, give this land to your servants for a possession and pass us not over Yarden.
6 And Mosheh says to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Reu Ben, Go your brothers to war; and you - you sit here?
7 And why discourage you the heart of the sons of Yisra El from passing into the land Yah Veh gives them?
8 Thus your fathers worked, when I sent them from Qadesh Barnea to see the land;

13 And Yah Veh kindled his wrath against Yisra El and he wandered them in the wilderness forty years; until all that generation who worked evil in the eyes of Yah Veh was consumed.
14 And behold, you rise in the stead of your fathers - an abundance of sinful men, to scrape together yet the fuming wrath of Yah Veh toward Yisra El.
