Deuteronomy 21:3-9 And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer, which has not been worked with, and which has not drawn in the yoke;

3 H5892 And it shall be, that the city H7138 which is next H2491 unto the slain man, H2205 even the elders H5892 of that city H3947 shall take H1241 a heifer, H5647 which has not been worked with, H4900 and which has not drawn H5923 in the yoke;

4 H2205 And the elders H5892 of that city H3381 shall bring down H5697 the heifer H386 unto a rough H5158 valley, H5647 which is neither plowed H2232 nor sown, H6202 and shall strike off H5697 the heifer's H6202 neck H5158 there in the valley:

5 H3548 And the priests H1121 the sons H3878 of Levi H5066 shall come near; H3068 for them the Lord H430 your God H977 has chosen H8334 to minister H1288 unto him, and to bless H8034 in the name H3068 of the Lord; H6310 and by their word H7379 shall every controversy H5061 and every stroke be tried:

6 H2205 And all the elders H5892 of that city, H7138 that are next H2491 unto the slain H7364 man, shall wash H3027 their hands H5697 over the heifer H6202 that is beheaded H5158 in the valley:

7 H6030 And they shall answer H559 and say, H3027 Our hands H8210 have not shed H1818 this blood, H5869 neither have our eyes H7200 seen it.

8 H3722 Be merciful, H3068 O Lord, H5971 unto your people H3478 Israel, H6299 whom you have redeemed, H5414 and lay H5355 not innocent H1818 blood H5971 unto your people H3478 of Israel's H7130 charge. H1818 And the blood H3722 shall be forgiven them.

9 H1197 So shall you put away H5355 the guilt of innocent H1818 blood H7130 from among H6213 you, when you shall do H3477 that which is right H5869 in the sight H3068 of the Lord.
