Joshua 24:19-24 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve Jehovah; for he is a holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgression nor your sins.

19 H3091 And Joshua H559 said H5971 unto the people, H3201 Ye cannot H5647 serve H3068 Jehovah; H6918 for he is a holy H430 God; H7072 he is a jealous H430 God; H5375 he will not forgive H6588 your transgression H2403 nor your sins.

20 H5800 If ye forsake H3068 Jehovah, H5647 and serve H5236 foreign H430 gods, H7725 then he will turn H7489 and do you evil, H3615 and consume H310 you, after H3190 that he hath done you good.

21 H5971 And the people H559 said H3091 unto Joshua, H5647 Nay; but we will serve H3068 Jehovah.

22 H3091 And Joshua H559 said H5971 unto the people, H5707 Ye are witnesses H977 against yourselves that ye have chosen H3068 you Jehovah, H5647 to serve H559 him. And they said, H5707 We are witnesses.

23 H5493 Now therefore put away, H5236 said he, the foreign H430 gods H7130 which are among H5186 you, and incline H3824 your heart H3068 unto Jehovah, H430 the God H3478 of Israel.

24 H5971 And the people H559 said H3091 unto Joshua, H3068 Jehovah H430 our God H5647 will we serve, H6963 and unto his voice H8085 will we hearken.
