1 Corinthians 10:6-12

Bishops^{(i) 6} These veryly are ensamples to vs, to thintent that we shoulde not lust after euyll thynges, as they also lusted ⁷ Neither be ye idolatours, as [were] some of them, as it is written: The people sate downe to eate and drynke, and rose vp to play ⁸ Neither let vs commit fornication, as some of them committed fornication, and fell in one daye three and thirtie thousande ⁹ Neither let vs tempt Christe, as some of them tempted, and were destroyed of serpentes ¹⁰ Neither murmure ye, as some of the also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer ¹¹ All these thinges happened vnto them for ensamples: but they are written to put vs in remembraunce, whom the endes of the worlde are come vpon ¹² Wherfore, let hym that thynketh he standeth, take heede lest he fall
