John 9:22-28

Williams(i) 22 His parents said this, because they were afraid of the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone owned Jesus as the Christ, he should be shut out of the synagogues. 23 This is why his parents said, "He is of age, ask him." 24 So a second time they called the man who had been blind, and said to him, "Give God the praise; we know this man is a sinner." 25 Then he answered, "I do not know whether He is a sinner. I do know one thing, that once I was blind but now I can see." 26 Again they said to him, "What did He do to you? How did He make your eyes to see again?" 27 He answered them, "I have already told you and you would not listen to me. Why do you want to hear it again? You do not want to become His disciples, do you?" 28 Then they jeered him, and said, "You are a disciple of His yourself, but we are disciples of Moses.
