John 9:22-28

Living_Oracles(i) 22 His parents spoke thus, because they fear the Jews: for the Jews had already determined, that whosoever acknowledged Jesus to be the Messiah, should be expelled from the synagogue. 23 For this reason his parents said, He is of age, ask him. 24 A second time, therefore, they called the man, who had been born blind, and said to him, Give glory to God; we know that this man is a sinner. 25 He replied, Whether he be a sinner, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, I now see. 26 They said to him again, What did he do to you? How did he make you see? 27 He answered, I told you before; did you not hear? Why would you hear it repeated? Will you, also, be his disciples? 28 They reviled him and said, You are his disciple. As for us, we are disciples of Moses.
