MLV(i)
His parents said these things, because they feared the Jews; for the Jews, themselves, had covenanted already, in order that if anyone confesses him as Christ, he should become expelled from the synagogue.
Because of this, his parents said, He has come of age; ask him.
So they summoned the man who was blind a second-time and said to him, Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.
Therefore that man answered and said, I do not know if he is a sinner. I know one thing, that I was blind, but now I can see.
But they said to him again, What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?
He answered them, I spoke to you already and you did not hear; why are you wishing to hear it again? Do you wish also to become his disciples?
They reviled him and said, You are a disciple of that man, but we are disciples of Moses.
