VIN⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁶ Joshua, the son of Nun and Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, who were with those who explored the land, tore their clothes. ⁷ They reasoned with the entire congregation of Israel saying: The land, which we've passed through to explore is exceedingly good. ⁸ If the LORD delight in us, he will bring us into this land, and give it us, a land that flows with milk and honey; ⁹ Only, do not rebel against the LORD. And you, do not fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their defense has turned away from them; and the LORD is with us; do not be afraid of them. ¹⁰ But the whole congregation desired to stone them to death. Suddenly, the glory of the LORD appeared at the tent of meeting, to all the Israelites.
