Luke 2:29-36

Matthew(i) 29 Lorde. Nowe lettest thou thy seruaunt departe in peace, accordinge to thy promes. 30 For mine eyes haue sene the sauiour sent from the. 31 Which thou hast prepare before the face of all people. 32 A lyght to lighten the gentils and the glorye of thy people Israel. 33 And his father and mother meruayled at those thinges which were spoken of him. 34 And Symon blessed them, & sayd vnto Mary his mother: beholde, this chylde shalbe the fal and resurrection of manye in Israel, & sygne which shalbe spoken againste. 35 And moreouer the swearde shall pearce thy soule, that the thoughtes of manye hertes maye be opened. 36 And ther was a prophetesse, one Anna the doughter of Phanuell of the trybe of Aser which was of a great age, and had liued with her housbande .vij. yeares from her virginitie.
