29 “Now Lord, You dismiss Your servant in peace, according to Your word.
30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation,
31 which You have prepared before the face of all the peoples,
32 a light for revelation of the Gentiles, and glory of Your people Israel.”
33 And His father and mother were marveling at the things having been spoken concerning Him.
34 And Simeon blessed them and said to His mother Mary: “Behold, this Child is appointed for the falling and rising up of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against—
35 and a sword also will go through your own soul— so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
