Luke 7:28-35

MLV(i) 28 For I say to you, Among those born of women there is no prophet greater than John the Immerser; yet he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. 29 And all the people and the tax collectors, having heard this, having been immersed in the immersion of John, made righteous by God. 30 But the Pharisees and the professors of the law rejected the plan of God for themselves, having not been immersed by him. 31 Therefore to what shall be similar to the men of this generation, and to what are they similar? 32 They are similar to children who are sitting in the marketplace and are shouting to one another and saying, We piped to you and you did not dance; we mourned for you and you did not weep. 33 For John the Immerser has come neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, He has a demon. 34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, Behold, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners! 35 And wisdom was made righteous from all her children.
