Numbers 36:6-9 This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad , saying , Let them marry to whom they think best ; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.

7 H5159 So shall not the inheritance H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H5437 remove [H8735] H4294 from tribe H4294 to tribe H376 : for every one H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H1692 shall keep [H8799] H5159 himself to the inheritance H4294 of the tribe H1 of his fathers.

8 H1323 And every daughter H3423 , that possesseth [H8802] H5159 an inheritance H4294 in any tribe H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H802 , shall be wife H259 unto one H4940 of the family H4294 of the tribe H1 of her father H1121 , that the children H3478 of Israel H3423 may enjoy [H8799] H376 every man H5159 the inheritance H1 of his fathers.

9 H5159 Neither shall the inheritance H5437 remove [H8735] H4294 from one tribe H312 to another H4294 tribe H376 ; but every one H4294 of the tribes H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H1692 shall keep [H8799] H5159 himself to his own inheritance.
