Deuteronomy 18:15-22 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren , like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken ;

16 H7592 According to all that thou desiredst [H8804] H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God H2722 in Horeb H3117 in the day H6951 of the assembly H559 , saying [H8800] H8085 , Let me not hear [H8800] H3254 again [H8686] H6963 the voice H3068 of the LORD H430 my God H7200 , neither let me see [H8799] H1419 this great H784 fire H4191 any more, that I die [H8799] not.

17 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799] H3190 unto me, They have well [H8689] H1696 spoken that which they have spoken [H8765] .

18 H6965 I will raise them up [H8686] H5030 a Prophet H7130 from among H251 their brethren H5414 , like unto thee, and will put [H8804] H1697 my words H6310 in his mouth H1696 ; and he shall speak [H8765] H6680 unto them all that I shall command [H8762] him.

19 H376 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever H8085 will not hearken [H8799] H1697 unto my words H1696 which he shall speak [H8762] H8034 in my name H1875 , I will require [H8799] it of him.

20 H5030 But the prophet H2102 , which shall presume [H8686] H1696 to speak [H8763] H1697 a word H8034 in my name H6680 , which I have not commanded [H8765] H1696 him to speak [H8763] H1696 , or that shall speak [H8762] H8034 in the name H312 of other H430 gods H5030 , even that prophet H4191 shall die [H8804] .

21 H559 And if thou say [H8799] H3824 in thine heart H3045 , How shall we know [H8799] H1697 the word H3068 which the LORD H1696 hath not spoken [H8765] ?

22 H5030 When a prophet H1696 speaketh [H8762] H8034 in the name H3068 of the LORD H1697 , if the thing H935 follow not, nor come to pass [H8799] H1697 , that is the thing H3068 which the LORD H1696 hath not spoken [H8765] H5030 , but the prophet H1696 hath spoken [H8765] H2087 it presumptuously H1481 : thou shalt not be afraid [H8799] of him.
