1 Chronicles 17:1-5 Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house , that David said to Nathan the prophet , Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars , but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains.

4 H3212 Go [H8798] H559 and tell [H8804] H1732 David H5650 my servant H559 , Thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H1129 , Thou shalt not build [H8799] H1004 me an house H3427 to dwell in [H8800] :

5 H3427 For I have not dwelt in [H8804] H1004 an house H3117 since the day H5927 that I brought up [H8689] H3478 Israel H3117 unto this day H168 ; but have gone from tent H168 to tent H4908 , and from one tabernacle to another .
