Job 1:8-12 ויאמר said יהוה And the LORD אל unto השׂטן Satan, השׂמת לבך על עבדי my servant איוב Job, כי that אין none כמהו like him בארץ in the earth, אישׁ man, תם a perfect וישׁר and an upright ירא one that feareth אלהים God, וסר and escheweth מרע׃ evil?

9 H6030 ויען answered H7854 השׂטן Then Satan H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 ויאמר and said, H2600 החנם for naught? H3372 ירא fear H347 איוב Doth Job H430 אלהים׃ God

10 H3808 הלא Hast not H859 את thou H7753 שׂכת made a hedge H1157 בעדו about H1157 ובעד him, and about H1004 ביתו his house, H1157 ובעד and about H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H5439 לו מסביב he hath on every side? H4639 מעשׂה the work H3027 ידיו of his hands, H1288 ברכת thou hast blessed H4735 ומקנהו and his substance H6555 פרץ is increased H776 בארץ׃ in the land.

11 H199 ואולם But H7971 שׁלח put forth H4994 נא now, H3027 ידך thine hand H5060 וגע and touch H3605 בכל all H834 אשׁר that H518 לו אם he hath, and H3808 לא H5921 על thee to H6440 פניך thy face. H1288 יברכך׃ he will curse

12 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H7854 השׂטן Satan, H2009 הנה Behold, H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H3027 לו בידך he hath in thy power; H7535 רק only H413 אליו upon H408 אל himself put not forth H7971 תשׁלח himself put not forth H3027 ידך thine hand. H3318 ויצא went forth H7854 השׂטן So Satan H5973 מעם from H6440 פני the presence H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.
