Matthew 26

ECB(i) 1
YAH SHUA PROPHESIES HIS STAKING
And so be it, when Yah Shua completes/shalams all these words, he says to his disciples, 2 You know that after two days is the pasach, and the Son of humanity is betrayed to staking. 3
THE PLOT TO SLAUGHTER YAH SHUA
Then the archpriests and the scribes and the elders of the people assemble together in the courtyard of the archpriest worded Caiaphas: 4 and they counsel together on how to overpower Yah Shua by deception and slaughter him: 5 but they word, Not in the celebration lest there be a tumult among the people. 6
A WOMAN ANOINTS YAH SHUA
But Yah Shua is in Beth Ania in the house of Shimon the leper, 7 and a woman comes to him having an alabaster of very precious myrrh and as he reposes, pours it on his head. 8 But his disciples see it, and are indignified, wording, What is the purpose of this destruction? 9 For this myrrh could have been sold for much and given to the poor. 10 But knowing, Yah Shua says to them, Why belabor and embarrass the woman? For she works a good work to me: 11 for you have the poor with you always; but me you have not always: 12 for in pouring this myrrh on my body she does it to my embalming. 13 Amen! I word to you, Wherever this evangelism is preached in the whole cosmos, this also, what this woman did, is spoken to her memorial. 14
YAH HUDAH SEEKS A BRIBE
Then one of the twelve, worded Yah Hudah the urbanite, goes to the archpriests, 15 and says to them, What will you to give me to deliver him to you? - and they covenant with him for thirty silver 16 - and from then he seeks opportunity to betray him. 17
THE FINAL PASACH OF YAH SHUA
But on the first of matsah the disciples come to Yah Shua, wording to him, Where will you have us prepare for you to eat the pasach? 18 And he says, Go into the city to so and so and say to him, The Doctor words, My season is near; I do the pasach at your house with my disciples. 19 And the disciples do as Yah Shua orders them and they prepare the pasach: 20 and being evening, he reposes with the twelve. 21 And as they eat, he says, Amen! I word to you, that one of you betrays me. 22 And they are extremely sorrowful, and each of them begins to word to him, Adonay, is it I? 23 And he answers, saying, He who baptizes his hand in the dish with me, the same betrays me. 24 The Son of humanity indeed goes exactly as scribed concerning him: but woe to that human through whom the Son of humanity is betrayed! it had been good for that human if he had not been birthed. 25 But Yah Hudah, who betrays him, answers, saying, Rabbi, is it I? He words to him, You said. 26
THE FINAL EUCHARIST OF YAH SHUA
And as they eat, Yah Shua takes bread, and eulogizes and breaks, and gives it to the disciples, and says, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he takes the cup, and eucharistizes, and gives it to them, wording, Drink thereof - all: 28 for this is my blood of the new covenant poured for many to the forgiveness of sins. 29 But I word to you, I never no way drink henceforth of this produce of the vine, until that day I drink it anew with you in the sovereigndom of my Father. 30 - and they hymn, and go to the mount of Olives. 31 Then Yah Shua words to them, All you scandalize in me this night: for it is scribed, I smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the shepherddom scatter: 32 but after I rise, I precede you into Galiyl. Zechariah 13:7 33 Petros answers him, saying, Though all scandalize in you, yet I never ever scandalize. 34 Yah Shua says to him, Amen! I word to you, This night, ere the rooster voices, you utterly deny me thrice. 35 Petros words to him, And if I must die with you, I never ever utterly deny you. - likewise also say all the disciples. 36
YAH SHUA IN GATH SHEMEN
Then Yah Shua goes with them to a parcel worded Gath Shemen; and words to the disciples, You sit here, while I go yonder and pray. 37 And he takes Petros and the two sons of Zabdi with him, and begins to sorrow and to heave: 38 then he words to them, My soul sorrows exceedingly - even to death: you abide here and watch with me. 39 And he proceeds and falls on his face and prays, wording, O my Father, if possible, pass this cup from me - however, not as I will - but as you will. 40 And he comes to the disciples, and finds them sleeping; and words to Petros, Thus, can you not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, that you not enter into testing: the spirit indeed is eager; but the flesh, frail. 42 He goes again the second time, and prays, wording, O my Father, if this cup not pass from me unless I drink it, your will become. 43 And he comes, and again finds them sleeping: for their eyes are heavy: 44 and he leaves them and goes again and prays the third time, saying the same words. 45 Then he comes to his disciples and words to them, Sleep on! and, Rest! Behold, the hour approaches, to betray the Son of humanity into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise! We go! Behold, he who betrays me approaches. 47
THE BETRAYAL AND ARREST OF YAH SHUA
And as he yet speaks, behold, Yah Hudah, one of the twelve, comes, and with him a vast multitude with swords and staves from the archpriests and elders of the people. 48 And he who betrays him gives them a sign, wording, Whomever I kiss, that same is he. Overpower him. 49 And straightway he comes to Yah Shua, and says, Cheers, Rabbi! - and ardently kisses him. 50 And Yah Shua says to him, Comrade, why are you here? They come and lay hands on Yah Shua and overpower him: 51 and behold, one of them with Yah Shua spreads his hand and draws his sword and smites a servant of the archpriest and removes his ear lobe. 52 Then Yah Shua words to him, Return your sword to its place: for all who take the sword destruct in the sword. 53 Think you that I am not able now to beseech my Father, and he presently gives me much more than twelve legions of angels? 54 How then are the scriptures fulfilled/shalamed, that it must be thus? 55 In that same hour Yah Shua says to the multitudes, Come you as upon a robber to take me with swords and staves? I sat daily with you doctrinating in the priestal precinct, and you overpowered me not. 56 - but all this becomes to fulfill/shalam the scriptures of the prophets. - then all the disciples forsake him, and flee. 57
YAH SHUA FACES THE ARCHPRIEST
And they who overpowers Yah Shua lead him to Caiaphas the archpriest, where the scribes and the elders assemble together: 58 and Petros follows him from afar to the courtyard of the archpriest; and enters and sits with the attendants to see the completion/shalom. 59 And the archpriests and elders and all the sanhedrim seek pseudo witnesses against Yah Shua to deathify him; 60 but find none - yes, though many pseudo witnesses come, yet they find none. Afterward two pseudo witnesses come, 61 and say, This one says, I am able to disintegrate the nave of Elohim and to build it through three days. 62 And the archpriest rises, and says to him, Answer you naught? What witness these against you? 63 - but Yah Shua hushes. And the archpriest answers him, saying, I exorcise you by the living Elohim, to say to us whether you be the Messiah, the Son of Elohim. 64 Yah Shua words to him, You said! Moreover I word to you, From now on you see the Son of humanity sitting at the right of the dynamis, and coming in the clouds of the heavens. 65 Then the archpriest rips his clothes, wording, He blasphemes! What further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now you heard his blasphemy! 66 What think you? They answer, saying, He is subject to death. 67 - then they spit in his face and punch him. And others slap him, 68 Wording, Prophesy to us, you Messiah, Who smote you? 69
THE FIRST DENIAL OF PETROS
And Petros sits outside in the courtyard: and a lass comes to him, wording, You also are with Yah Shua of Galiyl. 70 And he denies in front of all, wording, I know not what you speak. 71
THE SECOND DENIAL OF PETROS
And he goes to the gate, and another sees him: and words to them who are there, This one also was with Yah Shua the Nazarene. 72 And again he denies with an oath, I know not the human. 73
THE THIRD DENIAL OF PETROS
And after a little, those standing by come to Petros, and say, Truly you also are one of them; for your speech makes you evident. 74 Then he begins to curse and to anathematize, I know not the human. - and straightway the rooster voices. 75 And Petros remembers the rhema of Yah Shua, saying to him, Ere the rooster voices, you utterly deny me thrice. - and he goes and weeps bitterly.
