AVOIDING SCANDALIZINGS
And if your hand or your foot scandalizes you, exscind them and cast them from you: it is well for you to enter life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet and cast into eternal fire. 9 And if your eye scandalizes you, pluck it and cast it from you: it is well for you to enter life one-eyed rather than having two eyes cast into the fire of Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning.
