THE IDOLS OF MICHAH YAH
And there is a man of mount Ephrayim, his name is Michah Yah: 2 and he says to his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver taken from you, of your oath you also say in my ears; behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother says, Blessed - you of Yah Veh, my son. 3 And he restores the eleven hundred silvers to his mother, and his mother says, In hallowing, I hallow the silver to Yah Veh from my hand for my son to work a sculptile and a molting: and now I restore it to you. 4 He restores the silver to his mother; and his mother takes two hundred silver and gives them to the refiner, who works a sculptile and a molting thereof: and they are in the house of Michah Yah. 5 And the man Michah Yah has a house of elohim and works an ephod and teraphim and fills the hand of one of his sons who becomes his priest. 6 In those days there is no sovereign in Yisra El; and every man works straight in his own eyes: 7 and there is a lad of Beth Lechem Yah Hudah of the family of Yah Hudah - a Leviy and he sojourns there: 8 and the man goes from the city of Beth Lechem Yah Hudah to find where to sojourn: and as he works his way he comes to mount Ephrayim to the house of Michah Yah. 9 And Michah Yah says to him, Whence come you? And he says to him, I am a Leviy of Beth Lechem Yah Hudah; and I go to find where to sojourn. 10 And Michah Yah says to him, Settle with me and become my father and priest; and I give you ten silver daily and an appraisal of clothes and your invigoration. - and the Leviy goes in. 11 And the Leviy wills to settle with the man; and the lad is as one of his sons to him: 12 and Michah Yah fills the hand of the Leviy; and the lad becomes his priest in the house of Michah Yah. 13 Then Michah Yah says, Now I know that Yah Veh is well-pleased, seeing I have a Leviy to my priest.
