YAH HUDAH AND BEN YAMIN TRIBULATE AGAINST THE MANSE OF YAH VEH
And the tribulators of Yah Hudah and Ben Yamin hear that the sons of the exile build the manse to Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: 2 and they come near to Zerub Babel and the heads of the fathers, and say to them, Let us build with you: for we, as you, seek your Elohim; and we sacrificed not to him since the days of Esar Chaddon sovereign of Ashshur who ascended us here. 3 And Zerub Babel and Yah Shua and the survivors of the heads of the fathers of Yisra El say to them, You have naught to do with us to build a house to our Elohim; but we ourselves together build to Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El - as sovereign Koresh the sovereign of Persia misvahed us. 4 And so be it, the people of the land slacken the hands of the people of Yah Hudah and terrify them in building: 5 and hire counsellors against them to break down their counsel all the days of Koresh sovereign of Persia - even until the sovereigndom of Daryavesh sovereign of Persia. 6
ACHASH ROSH TRIBULATES AGAINST THE HOUSE OF YAH VEH
And in the sovereigndom of Achash Rosh, in the beginning of his sovereigndom, they inscribe an opposition against the settlers of Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem: 7 and in the days of Artach Shashta Bishlam, Mithredath, Tabe El and the survivors of their colleagues inscribe to Artach Shashta sovereign of Persia: and the inscribing of the epistle is inscribed in Aramaic and translated in Aramaic. 8 Rechum the master of decrees and Shimshay the scribe inscribe one epistle against Yeru Shalem to Artach Shashta the sovereign thus: 9 Then Rechum the master of decrees and Shimshay the scribe and the survivors of their colleagues - the Dinaiy, the Apharesiym, the Tarpeliy, the Apharsiy, the Archeviy, the Babeliy, the Shushanchiy, the Dehaviy and the Elamiy 10 and the survivors of the nations whom the great and esteemed Osnapper reveals and settles in the cities of Shomeron, and the survivors on this side the river, and et cetera. 11
ARTACH SHASHTA TRIBULATES AGAINST THE HOUSE OF YAH VEH
This is the transcript of the epistle they send him: To Artach Shashta the sovereign; your servants, the men on this side the river, and et cetera. 12 Now be it known to the sovereign, that the Yah Hudiym who ascended from you to us come to Yeru Shalem, and are building the rebellious and wicked city: and finishing the walls thereof and joining the foundations. 13 Now be it known to the sovereign, that, if this city is built and the walls finished, then they give not tribute, excise and custom; and thus damage the revenue of the sovereigns. 14 Now, because we are salted with the salt of the manse; and it is not convenient for us to see the nakedness of the sovereign; so we send and make known to the sovereign; 15 to search the scroll of the records of your fathers: and find in the scroll of the records and know that this city is a rebellious city and damaging to sovereigns and jurisdictions; and that they have rebels in their midst from eternal days: for which cause this city is desolated: 16 we have the sovereign know that if this city is built and the walls finished, that you have no portion on this side the river. 17 Then the sovereign sends a decision to Rechum the master of decrees and Shimshay the scribe and to the survivors of their colleagues who settle in Shomeron, and to the survivors beyond the river, Shalom and et cetera: 18 The epistle you send us has been distinctly called out in front of me: 19 and I set a decree and search: and find that this city, from eternal days, lifts itself against sovereigns: and rebellion and sedition are made therein: 20 and mighty sovereigns over Yeru Shalem - rulers over all beyond the river; and tribute, excise and custom is given them. 21 Now set a decree to have these men stop: and that this city not be built, until another decree is set from me. 22 Be enlightened that you not err about this: why increase the damage to the damage of the sovereigns? 23
