2 Chronicles 33

ECB(i) 1
Menash Sheh is a son of twelve years when he begins to reign and he reigns fifty-five years in Yeru Shalem: 2 and works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - like the abhorrences of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed at the face of the sons of Yisra El: 3 and he returns and builds the bamahs Yechizqi Yah his father pulled down; and he raises sacrifice altars for Baalim and works asherim; and prostrates to all the host of the heavens and serves them; 4 and he builds sacrifice altars in the house of Yah Veh whereof Yah Veh says, In Yeru Shalem is my name eternally. 5 And he builds sacrifice altars for all the host of the heavens in the two courts of the house of Yah Veh: 6 and he passes his sons through the fire in the valley of the son of burning: and he cloudglazes and prognosticates and sorcers: and works with a necromancer and with knowers: he abounds to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh to vex him. 7 And he sets a sculptile - a figurine he worked in the house of Elohim, of which Elohim said to David and to Shelomoh his son, In this house and in Yeru Shalem which I chose from all the scions of Yisra El I set my name eternally: 8 I neither turn aside the foot of Yisra El from the soil which I stood for your fathers; so that they guard to work all I misvahed them, according to the whole torah and the statutes and the judgments by the hand of Mosheh. 9 And Menash Sheh leads Yah Hudah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem astray; and to work evil above the goyim whom Yah Veh desolated at the face of the sons of Yisra El: 10 and Yah Veh words to Menash Sheh and to his people but they hearkened not: 11 and Yah Veh brings on them the governors of the host of the sovereign of Ashshur who capture Menash Sheh among the thorns and bind him with copper and walk him to Babel: 12 and he is tribulated, and he strokes the face of Yah Veh his Elohim and humbles himself mightily at the face of Elohim of his fathers; 13 and prays to him: and he is intreated of him and hears his supplication and returns him to Yeru Shalem to his sovereigndom. - and Menash Sheh knows Yah Veh - he is Elohim. 14 And after this he builds a wall outside the city of David duskward of Gichon, in the wadi, to the entrance at the fish portal and surrounds Ophel and heightens it mightily; and sets governors of valour in all the cut off cities of Yah Hudah: 15 and he turns aside the strange elohim and the figurine from the house of Yah Veh and all the sacrifice altars he built in the mount of the house of Yah Veh and in Yeru Shalem; and casts them outside the city: 16 and he builds the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh and sacrifices sacrifices of shelamim thereon and sacrifices of spread hands; and says to Yah Hudah to serve Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. 17 - and the people still sacrifice in the bamahs, but only to Yah Veh their Elohim. 18 And the rest of the words of Menash Sheh and his prayer to his Elohim and the words of the seers who worded to him in the name of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, behold, they are in the words of the sovereigns of Yisra El: 19 and his prayer and his entreaty and all his sins and his treason; and the places he built bamahs and stood asherim and sculptiles at the face of his being humbled: behold, they are inscribed among the words of seers/Hozay. 20 And Menash Sheh lies down with his fathers - entombed in his own house: and Amon his son reigns in his stead. 21
Amon is a son of twenty-two years when he begins to reign; and reigns two years in Yeru Shalem: 22 and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh, as Menash Sheh his father worked: for Amon sacrifices to all the sculptiles Menash Sheh his father worked and serves them: 23 and humbles not himself at the face of Yah Veh as Menash Sheh his father humbled himself: for Amon abounds his guilt. 24 And his servants conspire against him and deathify him in his own house: 25 and the people of the land smite all who conspire against sovereign Amon; and the people of the land have Yoshi Yah his son reign in his stead.
