5 H1320 and all flesh H3045 shall know H3068 that I, Jehovah, H3318 have drawn forth H2719 my sword H8593 out of its sheath; H7725 it shall not return any more.

6 H584 Sigh H1121 therefore, thou son H120 of man; H7670 with the breaking H4975 of thy loins H4814 and with bitterness H584 shalt thou sigh H5869 before their eyes.

7 H559 And it shall be, when they say H584 unto thee, Wherefore sighest H559 thou? that thou shalt say, H8052 Because of the tidings, H935 for it cometh; H3820 and every heart H4549 shall melt, H3027 and all hands H7503 shall be feeble, H7307 and every spirit H3543 shall faint, H1290 and all knees H3212 shall be weak H4325 as water: H935 behold, it cometh, H1961 and it shall be done, H5002 saith H136 the Lord H3069 Jehovah.

9 H1121 Son H120 of man, H5012 prophesy, H559 and say, H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah: H559 Say, H2719 A sword, H2719 a sword, H2300 it is sharpened, H4803 and also furbished;

10 H2300 it is sharpened H2874 that it may make a H2873 slaughter; H4178 it is furbished H1300 that it may be as lightning: H176 shall H7797 we then make mirth? H7626 the rod H1121 of my son, H3988 it contemneth H6086 every tree.

11 H5414 And it is given H4803 to be furbished, H3709 that it may be handled: H2719 the sword, H2300 it is sharpened, H4178 yea, it is furbished, H5414 to give H3027 it into the hand H2026 of the slayer.

12 H2199 Cry H3213 and wail, H1121 son H120 of man; H5971 for it is upon my people, H5387 it is upon all the princes H3478 of Israel: H4048 they are delivered H413 over to H2719 the sword H5971 with my people; H5606 smite H3409 therefore upon thy thigh.

15 H5414 I have set H19 the threatening H2719 sword H8179 against all their gates, H3820 that their heart H4127 may melt, H4383 and their stumblings H7235 be multiplied: H253 ah! H6213 it is made H1300 as lightning, H4593 it is pointed H2874 for slaughter.

16 H258 Gather thee together, H7760 go to H3231 the right, H8041 set thyself in array, go to the left, H575 whithersoever H6440 thy face H3259 is set.

17 H5221 I will also smite H3709 my hands H3709 together, H2534 and I will cause my wrath H5117 to rest: H3068 I, Jehovah, H1696 have spoken it.
