  17 H3478 Then Israel H7971 sent H4397 messengers H4428 to the king H123 of Edom, H559 saying, H4994 Let me, I pray H5674 you, pass H776 through your land: H4428 but the king H123 of Edom H8085 would not listen H1571 thereto. And in like H7971 manner they sent H4428 to the king H4124 of Moab: H14 but he would H14 not consent: H3478 and Israel H3427 stayed H6946 in Kadesh.
