YAH VEH SENDS SERAPH SERPENTS
And they pull stakes from mount Hor by the way of the Reed sea to surround the land of Edom: and the soul of the people curtails because of the way. ⁵ And the people word against Elohim and against Mosheh, Why ascended you us from Misrayim to die in the wilderness? for there is neither bread nor water; and our soul abhors this light bread. ⁶ And Yah Veh sends seraph serpents among the people and they bite the people; and much people of Yisra El die. ⁷ And the people come to Mosheh and say, We sinned, for we worded against Yah Veh and against you; pray to Yah Veh, to turn aside the serpents from us. - and Mosheh prays for the people. ⁸ And Yah Veh says to Mosheh, work a seraph and set it on a pole: and so be it, every one who is bitten, when he sees, lives. ⁹ And Mosheh works a serpent of copper and puts it on a pole: and so be it, if a serpent bites any man, when he looks at the serpent of copper, he lives. ¹⁰
SONS OF YISRA EL PULL STAKES

THE VOW OF JUDGE YIPHTACH
And Yiphtach vows a vow to Yah Veh and says, If in giving you give the sons of Ammon into my hands,

DEATH OF AHARON
And the sons of Yisra El - the whole witness pull stakes from Qadesh and come to mount Hor. ²³ And Yah Veh says to Mosheh and Aharon in mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom, saying,

²² establishing the souls of the disciples, and beseeching them to remain in the trust; and that we must through much tribulation enter the sovereigndom of Elohim.

³ that no one be shaken in these tribulations: for you yourselves know that we are set thereto. ⁴ For verily, when we were with you, we forespoke that we were about to be tribulated - even exactly as it became - as you know.

¹¹ and say to Mosheh, Because there are no tombs in Misrayim, take you us away to die in the wilderness? Why work you thus with us - to carry us forth from Misrayim?

²⁴ And the people murmur against Mosheh, saying, What drink we?

² and the whole witness of the sons of Yisra El murmur against Mosheh and Aharon in the wilderness. ³ And the sons of Yisra El say to them, O that we were given to die by the hand of Yah Veh - in the land of Misrayim when we settled by the flesh cauldrons and when we ate bread to satiety; for you bring us into this wilderness, to deathify this whole congregation with famine.

⁷ and in the morning, you see the honor of Yah Veh; for he hears your murmurings against Yah Veh: And who are we, that you murmur against us? ⁸ And Mosheh says, In the evening, Yah Veh gives you flesh to eat and in the morning bread to satiety; for Yah Veh hears the murmurings you murmur against him! And who are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against Yah Veh!

¹⁵ And when the sons of Yisra El see it, they say, man to brother, Manna: for they know not what it is. And Mosheh says to them, This is the bread which Yah Veh gives you for food:

³¹ And the house of Yisra El calls its name Manna: and it is as coriander seed, white; and its taste, as wafers with honey.

² And the people strive with Mosheh and say, Give us water to drink. And Mosheh says to them, Why strive with me? Why test you Yah Veh? ³ And there the people thirst for water; and the people murmur against Mosheh and say, Why ascended you us from Misrayim, to deathify us and our sons and our chattel with thirst?

THE CONSUMING FIRE OF YAH VEH
And the people complain evilly in the ears of Yah Veh: and Yah Veh hears and kindles his wrath; and kindles the fire of Yah Veh among them and consumes the ends of the camp. ² And the people cry to Mosheh; and when Mosheh prays to Yah Veh, the fire quenches. ³ And he calls the name of the place Taberah/Burning: because the fire of Yah Veh kindles among them. ⁴
SONS OF YISRA EL COMPLAIN ABOUT THE MANNA
And the gathering in their midst desires a desire: and the sons of Yisra El turn to weep and say, Who feeds us flesh? ⁵ We remember the fish we gratuitously ate in Misrayim; the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the garlic: ⁶ but now our soul dries: there is naught except this manna in front of our eyes. ⁷ - and the manna is as coriander seed and the eye thereof as the eye of bdellium. ⁸ And the people flit and glean it and grind it in millstones, and beat it in a mortar and stew it in skillets and work ashcakes thereof: and the taste thereof is as the taste of juicy oil. ⁹ And as the dew descends on the camp at night the manna descends thereon.

THE SONS OF YISRA EL MURMUR
And all the witness lift and give their voice and cry; and the people weep that night. ² And all the sons of Yisra El murmur against Mosheh and against Aharon: and all the witness say to them, O that we had died in the land of Misrayim! O that we had died in this wilderness! ³ And why brings Yah Veh us to this land, to fall by the sword? And our women and our children become a plunder? Were it not better for us to return into Misrayim? ⁴ And they say man to brother, We give us a head and return to Misrayim.

¹³ Is it petty that you ascended us from a land flowing with milk and honey, to deathify us in the wilderness? - and in marshalling, marshall over us? ¹⁴ Yes, you neither brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor gave us inheritance of fields and vineyards: bore you out the eyes of these men? We ascend not!

SONS OF YISRA EL MURMUR
But on the morrow all the witness of the sons of Yisra El murmur against Mosheh and against Aharon, saying, You deathified the people of Yah Veh.

¹² And the sons of Yisra El say to Mosheh, saying, Behold! We expire! We destruct! We all destruct!

⁶ Elohim sets the lonely in households; he brings the bound into prosperity: but they who revolt dwell in a parch.

¹⁹ yes, they word against Elohim; they say, El - arranges he a table in the wilderness?

²⁴ - he rains manna on them to eat and gives them the crop of the heavens: ²⁵ man eats the bread of the mighty he sends them hunt to satiate.

⁷ The satiated soul tramples a honeycomb; and to the famished soul all bitter is sweet.

¹⁴ And Yah Veh Elohim says to the serpent, Because you worked this, you are cursed above all animals and above every live being of the field; on your belly you go and eat dust all the days of your life: ¹⁵ and I put enmity between you and between the woman and between your seed and between her seed; he crushes your head and you crush his heel.

¹⁵ who carried you through that great and awesome wilderness of seraph serpents and scorpions and thirst - where there was no water: who brought water from the rock of flint;

²⁹ You, cheer not Pelesheth - all of you because the scion of him who smote you is broken: for from the root of the serpent comes forth a hisser; and his fruit is a flying seraph.

THE BURDEN OF THE ANIMALS OF THE SOUTH
The burden of the animals of the south: Into the land of tribulation and distress from whence the roaring lion and the old lion, the hisser and flying seraph - who bear their valuables on the shoulders of colts and their treasures on the humps of camels to a people who benefit them not.

¹⁷ For, behold, I send serpents - hissers among you, who have no charmer; and they bite you - an oracle of Yah Veh.

³ and if they hide in the top of Karmel/orchard I search and take them from there; and if they hide from my eyes in the floor of the sea I misvah the serpent to bite them there; ⁴ and if they go into captivity at the face of their enemies, I misvah the sword to slaughter them there: and I set my eyes on them for evil and not for good.

⁹ nor test the Messiah, exactly as some of them also tested and were destroyed by serpents:

⁷ and now restore the man his woman; for he is a prophet; and he prays for you to live: and if you restore her not, know this, in dying, you die, you and all who are yours.

⁸ And Paroh calls for Mosheh and Aharon and says, Intreat Yah Veh to turn aside the frogs from me and from my people; and I send the people away to sacrifice to Yah Veh.

²⁸ And Paroh says, I send you away, to sacrifice to Yah Veh your Elohim in the wilderness: only in removing afar, remove not afar: intreat for me.

YAH VEH REVEALS HIS GLORY
And Mosheh strokes the face of Yah Veh his Elohim and says, O Yah Veh, why kindle your wrath against your people whom you brought from the land of Misrayim with great force and with a strong hand?

³⁰ And so be it, on the morrow, Mosheh says to the people, You sinned a great sin: and now I ascend to Yah Veh; perhaps I kapar/atone for your sin.

² And the people cry to Mosheh; and when Mosheh prays to Yah Veh, the fire quenches.

¹⁷ And now, I beseech you, that the force of my Adonay greaten, as you worded, saying, ¹⁸ Yah Veh - slow to wrath and great of mercy, bearing perversity and rebellion and in exonerating, exonerates not, visiting the perversity of the fathers on the sons to the third and fourth. ¹⁹ Forgive, I beseech you, the perversity of this people according to the greatness of your mercy and as you bear this people, from Misrayim even until now. ²⁰
YAH VEH FORGIVES THE SONS OF YISRA EL
And Yah Veh says, I forgive according to your word:

²⁰ And Yah Veh was mighty angry with Aharon so as to desolate him: and I also prayed for Aharon the same time:

²⁶ And I prayed to Yah Veh and said, O Adonay Yah Veh, ruin not your people and your inheritance, which you redeemed through your greatness, which you brought forth from Misrayim with a strong hand: ²⁷ remember your servants, Abraham and Yischaq and Yaaqov: turn your face neither to the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin: ²⁸ lest the land whence you brought us out says, Because Yah Veh was not able to bring them into the land he worded them: and because of his hatred, he brought them out to deathify them in the wilderness. ²⁹ Yet they are your people and your inheritance, whom you brought out by your great force and by your spread arm.

¹⁹ And all the people say to Shemu El, Pray to Yah Veh your Elohim that we your servants not die: for we added to all our sins this evil - to ask us a sovereign. ²⁰ And Shemu El says to the people, Awe not: for all this evil you worked: only, turn not aside from after Yah Veh, but serve Yah Veh with all your heart; ²¹ turn not aside: for then you go after wasteness, which neither benefits nor rescues; for they are waste. ²² For Yah Veh abandons not his people for sake of his great name: because Yah Veh wills to work you to be his people. ²³ I also, far be it that I sin against Yah Veh, in ceasing to pray for you; but I direct you to the good and the straight way:

²⁴ And Shaul says to Shemu El, I sinned: for I trespassed the mouth of Yah Veh and your words: because I awed the people and heard their voice:

³⁰ Then he says, I sinned! Honor me now, I beseech you, in front of the elders of my people and in front of Yisra El and turn back with me, to prostrate to Yah Veh your Elohim.

⁶ And the sovereign answers and says to the man of Elohim, Stroke now the face of Yah Veh your Elohim, and pray for me, that my hand be restored. And the man of Elohim strokes the face of Yah Veh, and the hand of the sovereign restores and becomes as formerly.

⁸ And now, take seven bullocks and seven rams and go to my servant Iyob and holocaust yourselves a holocaust; and my servant Iyob prays for you; as for him, I lift from his face; so as not to work folly with you - in that you word not of me what is established, as my servant Iyob.

YAH VEH DOUBLES THE SUBSTANCE OF IYOB
And Yah Veh turns the captivity of Iyob, in praying for his friends; and Yah Veh adds to Iyob twice as much as he had faced.

³⁴ When he slaughters them, then they seek him - return and seek early after El;

²³ He said to desolate them, except Mosheh his chosen stood at his face in the breach, to turn away his fury, lest he ruin.

JUDGMENT
And Yah Veh says to me, Though Mosheh and Shemu El stand at my face, yet my soul is not toward this people: send them from my face, and go.

³ And Sidqi Yah the sovereign sends Yehuchal the son of Shelem Yah and Sephan Yah the son of Maase Yah the priest to the prophet Yirme Yah, saying, Pray, I beseech, to Yah Veh our Elohim for us.

¹⁵ I go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their guilting and seek my face: in their tribulation they seek me early.

⁴ wording, I sinned in betraying guiltless blood. And they say, What is that to us? You see to that.

²⁴ And Shimon answers, saying, You, petition Adonay for me, that none of these that you say come upon me.

YISRA EL LACKING TRUST
Brothers, indeed, the well approving of my heart and petition to Elohim for Yisra El is to their salvation.

¹⁶ Confess your backslidings to one another and vow for one another, to be healed. The energized petition of the just is mighty enough.

⁴³ Many times he rescued them; but they rebelled with their counsel and they are subdued in their perversity. ⁴⁴ He saw their tribulation when he heard their shouting; ⁴⁵ and he remembers his covenant and sighs according to the abundance of his mercies:

⁸ Yah Veh is charismatic and merciful; slow to wrath and of great mercy:

ETERNAL LIFE
And exactly as Mosheh exalted the serpent in the wilderness, even thus must the Son of humanity be exalted:

¹⁶ and to the Reu Beniy and to the Gadiy I gave from Gilad even to the wadi Arnon - to the middle of the wadi and the border even to the wadi Yabboq, which is the border of the sons of Ammon; ¹⁷ the plain also and Yarden and the border, from Kinneroth even to the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdoth Pisgah toward the rising.

WORDS OF THE DAYS OF THE DEFEATED SOVEREIGNS Now these are the sovereigns of the land the sons of Yisra El smite, and possess their land beyond Yarden from the rising of the sun - from the wadi Arnon to mount Hermon and all the plain from the rising. ² Sichon sovereign of the Emoriy settles in Heshbon: reigning from Aroer on the lip of the wadi Arnon and from the middle of the wadi and from half Gilad to the wadi Yabboq - the border of the sons of Ammon; ³ and from the plain to the sea of Kinneroth from the rising and to the sea of the plain - the salt sea from the rising, the way to Beth Ha Yeshimoth; and southward under Ashdoth Pisgah: ⁴ and the border of Og, sovereign of Bashan, of the remnant of the Rephaim, settling at Ashtaroth and at Edrei; ⁵ and reigning in mount Hermon and in Salchah and in all Bashan; to the border of the Geshuriy and the Maachahiy and half Gilad - the border of Sichon sovereign of Heshbon. ⁶ Them Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh and the sons of Yisra El smite: and Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh gives it for a possession to the Reu Beniy and the Gadiy and the half scion of Menash Sheh.

SONS OF YISRA EL DISPUTE OVER LAND
And the sons of Reu Ben and the sons of Gad have mighty mighty many chattel: and when they see the land of Yazer and the land of Gilad, and behold, the place is a place for chattel;

³⁵ and Atroth, Shophan and Yazer and Jogbehah

³² O vine of Sibmah, I weep for you with the weeping of Yazer: your tendrils pass over the sea; they touch to the sea of Yazer: the ravager falls on your summer fruits and on your crop:

³³ And Mosheh gives them - the sons of Gad and the sons of Reu Ben and half the scion of Menash Sheh the son of Yoseph, the sovereigndom of Siho sovereign of the Emoriy and the sovereigndom of Og sovereign of Bashan - the land, with the cities thereof in the borders, - the cities of the land all around.

And we turned our face and ascended the way to Bashan: and Og the sovereign of Bashan came out confronting us - he and all his people, to war at Edrei. ² And Yah Veh said to me, Awe him not: for I give him and all his people and his land into your hand; and work to him as you worked to Sichon sovereign of the Emoriy, who settles at Heshbon. ³ So Yah Veh our Elohim also gave into our hands Og the sovereign of Bashan and all his people: and we smote him until no survivors survived: ⁴ and we captured all his cities at that time, there is not a city which we took not from them - sixty cities, all the boundaries of Argob, the sovereigndom of Og in Bashan ⁵ - all these cities fortified with high walls, gates and bars; beside suburban cities mightily abounding: ⁶ and we devoted them, as we worked to Sichon sovereign of Heshbon - devoting the few men, women and toddlers, of every city:

⁴⁷ and possessed his land and the land of Og sovereign of Bashan - two sovereigns of the Emoriy, on this side Yarden toward the sunrising;

¹⁴ - butter of oxen and milk of flocks with fat of rams and rams of the sons of Bashan and he goats, with the fat of reins of wheat; and you drink the fermented blood of the grape.

¹² Many bullocks surround me; the mighty of Bashan surround me:

¹⁵ The mountain of Elohim is as the mountain of Bashan; peaks of the mountain as the mountain of Bashan.

⁹ The earth mourns and languishes; Lebanon blushes and withers; Sharon is as a plain; and Bashan and Karmel/orchard shake.

⁶ from the oaks of Bashan they work your oars; the daughters of the Ashshuriym work your boards of ivory - brought from the islands of Kittim.

¹⁸ - to eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the hierarchs of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of he goats, of bullocks, of all the fatlings of Bashan:

YISRA EL UNREPENTANT
Hear this word, you heifers of Bashan in the mountain of Shomeron - who oppress the poor; who crush the needy; who say to their adonim, Bring, and we drink.

⁹ only neither rebel against Yah Veh, nor awe the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence turns aside from them and Yah Veh is with us: - awe them not.

²⁴ and Yisra El smites him with the mouth of the sword and possesses his land from Arnon to Yabboq to the sons of Ammon: for the border of the sons of Ammon is strong. ²⁵ And Yisra El takes all these cities: and Yisra El settles in all the cities of the Emoriy, in Heshbon and in all the daughters thereof.

² And Yah Veh said to me, Awe him not: for I give him and all his people and his land into your hand; and work to him as you worked to Sichon sovereign of the Emoriy, who settles at Heshbon. ³ So Yah Veh our Elohim also gave into our hands Og the sovereign of Bashan and all his people: and we smote him until no survivors survived:

¹¹ For only Og sovereign of Bashan of the remnant of Rephaim survived; behold his bedstead - a bedstead of iron; Is it not in Rabbah of the sons of Ammon? nine cubits the length thereof and four cubits the width thereof, after the cubit of a man.

²⁴ and he gives their sovereigns into your hand and you destroy their name from under the heavens: no man is able to stand at your face until you desolate them.

³ and says to them, Hear, O Yisra El, you approach this day to battle against your enemies: neither tenderize your hearts nor awe nor hasten nor terrify at their face;

⁶ In strenthening, strengthen; neither awe them nor awe their face; for Yah Veh your Elohim - he goes with you; he neither lets you loose nor forsakes you.

⁷ then rise from the lurk and possess the city: for Yah Veh your Elohim gives it into your hand.

⁸ And Yah Veh says to Yah Shua, Awe them not: for I give them into your hand; not a man of them stands at your face.

²⁵ And Yah Shua says to them, Neither awe nor terrify! Strengthen! Encourage! For thus Yah Veh works to all your enemies whom you fight.

⁴ And David adds again to ask Yah Veh: and Yah Veh answers him and says, Rise! Descend to Qeilah! For I give the Peleshethiy into your hand.

¹⁹ And David asks Yah Veh, saying, Ascend I to the Peleshethiy? Give you them into my hand? And Yah Veh says to David, Ascend! For in giving, I give the Peleshethiy into your hand.

And behold, one prophet approaches Ach Ab sovereign of Yisra El, saying, Thus says Yah Veh, See you all this great multitude? Behold, I deliver it into your hand this day; so that you know I - Yah Veh.

²⁸ And a man of Elohim comes near and says to the sovereign of Yisra El and says, Thus says Yah Veh, Because the Aramiy say, Yah Veh is Elohim of the mountains, but he is not Elohim of the valleys, I give all this great multitude into your hand, that you know I - Yah Veh.

¹⁸ and this is a trifle in the eyes of Yah Veh: and he gives the Moabiy into your hand.

¹⁰ who smote great goyim and slaughtered mighty sovereigns ¹¹ - Sichon sovereign of the Emoriy and Og sovereign of Bashan and all the sovereigndoms of Kenaan;

¹³ For I, Yah Veh your Elohim, hold your right, saying to you, Awe not; I help you.

RESUME' OF THE ALLOTMENT OF LAND
And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer by the wadi Arnon and half mount Gilad and the cities thereof, I gave to the Reu Beniy and to the Gadiy: ¹³ and the remainder of Gilad and all Bashan, being the sovereigndom of Og, I gave to the half scion of Menash Sheh; all the boundaries of Argob, with all Bashan, called the land of Rephaim. ¹⁴ Yair the son of Menash Sheh took all the boundaries of Argob to the borders of the Geshuriy and Maachahiy; and called them after his own name, Bashan Havoth Yair, to this day: ¹⁵ and I gave Gilad to Machir:

¹⁷ to him who smote great sovereigns; for his mercy eternal: ¹⁸ and slaughtered mighty sovereigns; for his mercy eternal: ¹⁹ Sichon sovereign of the Emoriy; for his mercy eternal: ²⁰ and Og the sovereign of Bashan; for his mercy eternal: ²¹ and gave their land for an inheritance; for his mercy eternal:
