And great multitudes were gathered together, to him, so that he went into the vessel and sat, and all the multitude stood on the shore.
And he spake many things to them in parables, saying, Behold a sower went forth to sow.
And while he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them.
Others fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth; and they sprung up immediately, because they had not depth of earth.
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had not root, they withered away.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up and choked them.
And others fell on good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty.
He that hath ears to hear let him hear.
