To this Job replied,
How have you helped the powerless, or saved the arm with no strength?
How you have counseled one without wisdom, And the reality of things you have abundantly made known!"
To whom have you uttered words? and whose spirit came from you?
“The departed spirits tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.
Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering.
he spreads out the north over empty space, suspending the earth over nothing.
He bound up the waters in his clouds; and the cloud bursteth not under their weight;
He covers the face of the full moon; he spreads his cloud over it.
"He has described a circle on the face of the waters, at the boundary between light and darkness.
The pillars of the heavens quake and marvel at his rebuke;
By his power the sea was made quiet; and by his wisdom Rahab was wounded.
"By his wind the heavens were made fair. His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.
Look, these are the outer fringes of his ways, and how faint is the word that we hear of him! But who can understand the thunder of his power?"
