1 Let every soul be subject to the ruling powers; for there is no power but from God. The powers in being are arranged by God;
2 so that he who setteth himself against the power resisteth the arrangement of God; and they who resist shall receive for themselves condemnation.
3 For the rulers are not a terror to good works but to evil. Dost thou then wish not to dread the power? Do that which is good and thou shall have praise from it.
