28 he took him in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
29 Now, O Lord, thou dismissest thy servant in peace according to thy word,
30 since mine eyes have seen that salvation of thine,
31 which thou hast prepared in the sight of all peoples,
32 a light to illuminate the nations; the glory of thy people Israel.
33 And while Joseph and the mother of the child were wondering at the things spoken concerning him,
34 Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother, Behold this child is destined for the fall and the rising again of many in Israel, and for an object of calumny
