RKJNT(i)
And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and begged him to come to his house:
For he had only one daughter, about twelve years old, and she lay dying. But as he went the people crowded around him.
And a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone,
Came up behind him, and touched the edge of his garment: and immediately the flow of blood stopped.
And Jesus said, Who touched me? When they all denied it, Peter said, Master, the multitudes crowd and press around you.
And Jesus said, Somebody has touched me: for I know that power has gone out of me.
And when the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling, fell down before him, and told him before all the people why she had touched him, and how she was immediately healed.
And he said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.
While he was speaking, a man came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, and said to him, Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher further.
But when Jesus heard this, he said, Do not fear: only believe, and she shall be made well.
And when he came into the house, he allowed no one to go in, except Peter, and James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl.
And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeps.
And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Child, arise.
And her spirit returned, and she arose immediately: and he commanded that she be given food.
And her parents were astonished: but he directed them to tell no one what had happened.
