And during those days, he ate nothing; and when he had completed them, he was at last hungry. ³ And the Calumniator said to him: If thou art the Son of God, command this stone to become bread. ⁴ Jesus replied, and said to him: It is written, Not by bread only, doth man live; but by every thing of God.
