Colossians 4

Matthew(i) 1 Ye maisters do vnto your seruauntes, that which is iuste and equall, sayng: ye know that ye also haue a maister in heauen. 2 Contynue in prayer & watch in the same wyth thankes geuynge, 3 prayeng also for vs that God open vnto vs the dore of vtteraunce, that we maye speake the misterye of Christe (wherfore I am also in bondes) 4 that I maye vtter it, as it becometh me to speake. 5 Walke wiselye to them that are wythout and redeme the tyme. 6 Let youre speache be alwayes well sauoured and poudred with salte, that ye maye knowe, howe to answere euery man. 7 The deare brother Tichicus shal tell you of al my busines, whiche is a faithfull minyster, and felow seruaunt in the Lorde, 8 whom I haue sent vnto you for the same purpose, that he mighte knowe howe ye do, & myght comforte your hertes, 9 wyth one Onesimus, a faythfull and a beloued brother, whiche is one of you. They shall shewe you of al thinges, whiche are adoing here. 10 Aristarchus my pryson felowe saluteth you and Marcus, Barnabas sisters sonne: touching whom ye receiued commaundementes. Yf he come vnto you, receiue him, 11 and Iesus which is called Iustus, which are of the circumcision. These onely are my worke felowes vnto the kyngdome of God, whiche were vnto my consolacion. 12 Epaphras the seruaunte of Christe, which is one of you, saluteth you, and alwaies laboureth feruentlye for you in prayers, that ye maye stande perfecte and full in all that is the wyll of God. 13 I beare hym recorde, that he hath a feruent minde towarde you and towarde them of Laodicia and them of Hierapolis. 14 Deare Lucas the Phisician greteth you, and Demas. 15 Salute the brethren whiche are of Laodicia, and salute Nimphas, and the congregacion, which is in hys house. 16 And when the Epistle is read of you, make that it be read in the congregacion of the Laodicians also and that ye lykewyse read the Epistle of Laodycya. 17 And saye to Archippus: take hede to the offyce that thou hast receyued in the Lord, that thou fulfill it. 18 The salutation by the hande of me Paule. Remembre my bondes. Grace be with you Amen.
