2 H3414 The which Jeremiah H5030 the prophet H1696 spake [H8765] H5971 unto all the people H3063 of Judah H3427 , and to all the inhabitants [H8802] H3389 of Jerusalem H559 , saying [H8800] ,

3 H7969 From the thirteenth H6240 H8141 year H2977 of Josiah H1121 the son H526 of Amon H4428 king H3063 of Judah H3117 , even unto this day H7969 , that is the three H6242 and twentieth H8141 year H1697 , the word H3068 of the LORD H1696 hath come unto me, and I have spoken [H8762] H7925 unto you, rising early [H8687] H1696 and speaking [H8763] H8085 ; but ye have not hearkened [H8804] .

But the Babylonians date the commencement of his reign two years later, that is, on the death of his father; which computation is followed by Daniel, who wrote in Chaldee.
