20 H1961 והיינו may be H1571 גם also H587 אנחנו That we H3605 ככל like all H1471 הגוים the nations; H8199 ושׁפטנו may judge H4428 מלכנו and that our king H3318 ויצא us, and go out H6440 לפנינו before H3898 ונלחם us, and fight H853 את H4421 מלחמתנו׃ our battles.

21 H8085 וישׁמע heard H8050 שׁמואל And Samuel H853 את H3605 כל all H1697 דברי the words H5971 העם of the people, H1696 וידברם and he rehearsed H241 באזני them in the ears H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

22 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל to H8050 שׁמואל Samuel, H8085 שׁמע Hearken H6963 בקולם unto their voice, H4427 והמלכת and make them a king. H4428 להם מלך and make them a king. H559 ויאמר said H8050 שׁמואל And Samuel H413 אל unto H376 אנשׁי the men H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H1980 לכו Go H376 אישׁ ye every man H5892 לעירו׃ unto his city.
