Ephesians 1:14-23

Godbey(i) 14 who is the earnest of our salvation, unto the redemption of the possession, unto the praise of his glory. 15 Therefore I also, having heard of the faith among you in the Lord Jesus, and your love which is toward all the saints, 16 I do not cease giving thanks for you making mention of you in my prayers; 17 in order that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, may grant unto you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the perfect knowledge of himself; 18 the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance among the saints, 19 and what the excellent majesty of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of the power of his might 20 which he has wrought in Christ, raising him from the dead, and seating him on his right hand in the heavenlies, 21 above all government, and authority, and power, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but in the age to come: 22 and has subordinated all things beneath his feet, and given him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all things in all.
