1 To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. The heavens scribe the honor of El; and the expanse tells his handiwork.
2 Day to day gushes sayings and night to night shows knowledge.
3 There is neither saying nor word where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line goes throughout all the earth and their utterances to the end of the world. In them he sets a tent for the sun:
5 and he, as a groom coming from his canopy; rejoices as the mighty to run the path.
6 His source is from the end of the heavens and his circuit to the ends thereof; and naught is hid from the heat.
7 The torah of Yah Veh is perfect, restoring the soul; the witness of Yah Veh is trustworthy, enwisening the gullible;
8 the precepts of Yah Veh are straight, cheering the heart; the misvah of Yah Veh is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 the awe of Yah Veh is pure, standing eternally; the judgments of Yah Veh are truth, justified altogether.
10 More to be desired than gold, yes, than much pure gold; and sweeter than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.
11 Also by them your servant enlightens; and in guarding them is a great final result.
12 Inadvertent errors - who discerns? Exonerate me from the hidden;
13 also spare your servant from the arrogant that they not reign over me: and I am integrious and exonerated from the great rebellion.
14 May the sayings of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing at your face, O Yah Veh, my rock and my redeemer.
20 1 To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. Yah Veh answers you in the day of tribulation; the name of Elohim of Yaaqov lofts you;
2 he sends you help from the holies and supports you from Siyon;
3 he remembers all your offerings and fattens your holocausts. Selah.
4 He gives you according to your own heart and fulfills all your counsel.
5 We shout in your salvation and in the name of our Elohim we raise our banners; Yah Veh fulfills all your requests.
6 Now I know that Yah Veh saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heavens with the might of salvation of his right
7 - some in chariots - some in horses; and we remember the name of Yah Veh our Elohim.
8 They - they knuckle under and fall; and we rise restored.
9 Save, O Yah Veh; the sovereign answers us the day we call.
21 1 To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. The sovereign cheers in your strength, O Yah Veh; how mightily he twirls in your salvation:
2 you give him the desire of his heart and withhold not the yearning of his lips. Selah.
3 For you anticipate him with the blessings of goodness; you set a crown of pure gold on his head;
4 he asks life of you and you give him length of days eternally and eternally:
5 great is his honor in your salvation; you place honor and majesty on him:
6 for you set him for blessings eternally; you cheer him with cheerfulness by your face.
7 For the sovereign confides in Yah Veh and through the mercy of Elyon he totters not:
8 your hand finds all your enemies; your right finds them who hate you:
9 you set them as a fiery oven at the time of your face: Yah Veh swallows them in his wrath and the fire consumes them:
10 you destroy their fruit from the earth and their seed from the sons of humanity.
11 For they spread evil against you; they machinate intrigue; they are not able:
12 for you set their shoulder; you prepare your cords against their face.
13 Be lofted, O Yah Veh, in your own strength; we sing and psalm your might.
22 1 To His Eminence; On the Hind of the Dawn: A Psalm by David. My El, my El, why forsake you me? - so far from my salvation and from the words of my roaring?
2 O my Elohim, I call by day, and you answer not; and by night, and am not silent.
3 And you are holy - you who settles in the halals of Yisra El.
4 Our fathers confided in you - they confided and you slipped them away:
5 they cried to you and escaped; they confided in you and shamed not.
6 I am but a maggot - not a man; a reproach of humanity despised of the people.
7 All who see me deride me; they bust out the lip, they shake the head,
8 saying, Roll on Yah Veh! He rescues him! He slips him away, seeing he delights in him!
9 For you are he who gushed me from the belly; to confide in you at the breasts of my mother.
10 I was cast on you from the womb; you are my El from the belly of my mother.
11 Be not far from me; for tribulation is near: for there is no helper.
12 Many bullocks surround me; the mighty of Bashan surround me:
13 they gape on me with their mouths as a tearing and a roaring lion.
14 I am poured as water and all my bones separate; my heart is as wax melted midst my inwards;
15 my force is dried as a potsherd; my tongue adheres to my prey; you set me into the dust of death.
16 For dogs surround me; the witness of vilifiers surround me: my hands and my feet as a lion.
17 I scribe all my bones; they look and see me;
18 they allot my clothes among them and toss pebbles for my robe.
19 And you, O Yah Veh, be not far from me; O my might, hasten to help me:
20 rescue my soul from the sword; my only from the hand of the dog:
21 save me from the mouth of the lion; from the horns of the reems, answer me.
22 I scribe your name to my brothers; midst the congregation I halal you.
23 You who awe Yah Veh, halal him; all you seed of Yaaqov, honor him; and dodge him, all you seed of Yisra El.
24 For he neither despises nor abominates the humbling of the humble; nor hides his face from him; and in crying to him, he hears.
25 My halal is of you in the great congregation; I shalam my vows in front of them who awe him.
26 The humble eat - satisfied; they who seek Yah Veh halal him; your heart lives eternally.
27 All the finalities of the world remember and turn to Yah Veh; and all the families of the goyim prostrate at your face.
28 For the sovereigndom is to Yah Veh; he is the sovereign among the goyim.
29 All the fat on earth eat and prostrate; all they who descend to the dust kneel at his face; and none enlivens his own soul.
30 A seed serves him; - ascribed to Adonay for a generation.
31 They come and tell his justness to a people yet to be birthed - whom he has worked.
23 1 A Psalm by David. Yah Veh Raah; I lack not.
2 He reposes me in sprouting folds; he guides me beside the waters of rest:
3 He restores my soul; he leads me in the paths of justness for sake of his name.
4 Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I awe no evil; for you are with me; your scion and your crutch sigh over me:
5 you arrange a table at my face in the presence of my tribulators; you anoint my head with ointment; my cup satiates.
6 Surely goodness and mercy pursue me all the days of my life; and I settle in the house of Yah Veh for a length of days.
24 1 A Psalm by David. Unto Yah Veh is the earth and the fulness; the world and they who settle therein:
2 for he founded it on the seas and established it on the rivers.
3 Who ascends into the mountain of Yah Veh? Who rises in his holy place?
4 He who has innocent palms and a pure heart; - who neither lifts his soul to vanity nor oaths deceitfully:
5 he lifts a blessing from Yah Veh and justness from Elohim of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of seekers who seek your face, O Yaaqov. Selah.
7 Lift your heads, O you portals; be lifted, you eternal portals; and the Sovereign of honor enters.
8 Who is this Sovereign of honor? Yah Veh strong and mighty! Yah Veh mighty in war!
9 Lift your heads, O you portals; be lifted, you eternal portals; and the Sovereign of honor enters.
10 Who is this Sovereign of honor? Yah Veh Sabaoth, he is the Sovereign of honor. Selah.
25 1 By David. To you, O Yah Veh, I lift my soul;
2 O my Elohim, I confide in you; may I neither shame nor my enemies jump for joy over me:
3 yes, may none who await you shame; shame them who deal vanity covertly.
4 Have me know your ways, O Yah Veh; teach me your paths:
5 aim me in your truth and teach me; for you are Elohim of my salvation: I await you all the day.
6 Remember, O Yah Veh, your tender mercies and your kind mercies; for they are eternal:
7 remember neither the sins of my youth nor my rebellions: according to your mercy remember me for sake of your goodness, O Yah Veh.
8 Good and straight is Yah Veh; so he teaches sinners in the way:
9 he aims the humble in judgment; and he teaches the humble his way.
10 All the paths of Yah Veh are mercy and truth to such as guard his covenant and his witnesses.
11 For sake of your name, O Yah Veh, forgive my perversity; for it is great.
12 What man is he who awes Yah Veh? He teaches him in the way he chooses.
13 His soul stays in goodness; and his seed possesses the earth:
14 the private counsel of Yah Veh is with them who awe him; and he has them know his covenant.
15 My eyes are continually toward Yah Veh; for he plucks my feet from the net.
16 Face me and grant me charism; for I am alone and humble:
17 the tribulations of my heart enlarge; bring me from my distresses.
18 See my humiliation and my toil; and lift all my sins:
19 see my enemies; for they abound by the myriads: and they hate me with hatred of violence.
20 O guard my soul and rescue me that I shame not; for I seek my refuge in you:
21 Integrity and straightness guard me; for I await you:
22 redeem Yisra El, O Elohim, from all his tribulations.
26 1 By David. Judge me, O Yah Veh; for I walk in my integrity: I confide in Yah Veh; I waver not.
2 Proof me, O Yah Veh, proof me - refine my reins and my heart.
3 For your mercy is in front of my eyes and I walk in your truth:
4 I neither settle with vain men nor go with imposters:
5 I hate the congregation of vilifiers and settle not with the wicked:
6 I wash my palms in innocency; I surround your sacrifice altar, O Yah Veh:
7 that they hear the voice of spread hands and scribe of all your wondrous works.
8 O Yah Veh, I love the habitation of your house and the place of the tabernacle of your honor.
9 Neither gather my soul with sinners nor my life with men of blood
10 - in whose hands is intrigue and their right full of bribes.
11 But as for me, I walk in my integrity; redeem me and grant me charism:
12 my foot stands straight; I bless Yah Veh in the congregations.
27 1 By David. Yah Veh is my light and my salvation; whom dread I? Yah Veh is the stronghold of my life; whom dread I?
2 When the vilifiers - my tribulators and my enemies come on me to eat my flesh, they stumble and fall.
3 Though a camp encamp against me my heart awes not; though war rises against me in this I confide.
4 This one I ask of Yah Veh - I seek after: to settle in the house of Yah Veh all the days of my life; to see the pleasantness of Yah Veh and to search in his manse.
5 For in the day of evil he hides me in his sukkoth/brush arbor - in the covert of his tent he hides me - lifts me on a rock.
6 And now my head lifts above my enemies all around; and in his tent I sacrifice sacrifices of shouting; I sing, yes, I psalm to Yah Veh.
7 Hear, O Yah Veh, my voice - I call! Grant me charism and answer me.
8 My heart says to you, Seek my face; Your face, O Yah Veh, I seek.
9 Neither hide your face from me nor pervert your servant away in wrath; you are my help: neither leave me nor forsake me, O Elohim of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me then Yah Veh gathers me.
11 Teach me your way, O Yah Veh and lead me in a straight path because of my enemies.
12 Give me not to the soul of my tribulators; for false witnesses rise against me - such as exhale violence.
13 I trusted not to see the goodness of Yah Veh in the land of the living.
14 Await Yah Veh! Prevail; and he strengthens your heart; yes, await Yah Veh.
28 1 By David. To you I call, O Yah Veh my rock; hush not to me: if you hush to me I become as they who descend into the well.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to you - when I lift my hands toward the pulpit of your holies.
3 Draw me not away with the wicked - with the doers of mischief; who word shalom to their friends but evil is in their hearts.
4 Give them according to their deeds and according to the evil of their exploits; give them according to the work of their hands; return to them as they deal.
5 For they neither discern the deeds of Yah Veh nor the work of his hands; he demolishes them and builds them not.
6 Blessed be Yah Veh; for he hears the voice of my supplications.
7 Yah Veh is my strength and my buckler; my heart confides in him and I am helped: and my heart jumps for joy; and with my song I spread hands to him.
8 Yah Veh is their strength and he is the stronghold of salvations of his anointed.
9 Save your people and bless your inheritance; befriend them also and lift them eternally.
29 1 A Psalm by David. Give to Yah Veh, O you sons of El; give to Yah Veh honor and strength;
2 give to Yah Veh the honor of his name: prostrate to Yah Veh in the majesty of his holies.
3 The voice of Yah Veh is on the waters: the El of honor thunders; Yah Veh is on many waters:
4 - the voice of Yah Veh in force the voice of Yah Veh in majesty:
5 the voice of Yah Veh breaks the cedars; yes, Yah Veh breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He has them dance as a calf - Lebanon and Shirion as a son of reems;
7 the voice of Yah Veh hews the flames of fire:
8 the voice of Yah Veh twirls the wilderness; Yah Veh twirls the wilderness of Qadesh:
9 the voice of Yah Veh causes the hinds to writhe and strips the forests: and in his manse all say of his honor.
10 Yah Veh settles on the flood; yes, Yah Veh settles, Sovereign eternal!
11 Yah Veh gives strength to his people; Yah Veh blesses his people with shalom.
30 1 A Psalm; A Song: at the hanukkah of the house of David. I exalt you, O Yah Veh; for you bail me up so that my enemies not cheer over me.
2 O Yah Veh my Elohim I cry to you and you heal me.
3 O Yah Veh, you ascend my soul from sheol; you enliven me that I not descend to the well.
4 Psalm to Yah Veh, all you his mercied; spread hands at the memorial of his holiness:
5 his wrath is for but a blink; in his pleasure is life: weeping stays at evening but shouting at morning:
6 and in my serenity I say, I totter not eternally.
7 O Yah Veh, at your pleasure my mountain stands in strength; you hide your face and I terrify.
8 I call to you, O Yah Veh; and to Yah Veh I seek charism.
9 What gain is there in my blood when I descend to the pit of ruin? Does dust spread hands to you? - tell your truth?
10 Hear, O Yah Veh, and grant me charism; O Yah Veh, be my helper.
11 Turn my chopping into round dancing; loose my saq and girt me with cheerfulness:
12 so that my honor may psalm to you and not hush. O Yah Veh my Elohim, I spread hands to you eternally.
31 1 To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. In you, O Yah Veh, I seek refuge; shame me not eternally; slip me away in your justness:
2 spread your ear to me; rescue me quickly; be my rock of stronghold - a house of stronghold to save me:
3 for you are my rock and my stronghold; for sake of your name lead me and guide me.
4 Pull me from the net they hide for me; for you are my stronghold:
5 into your hand I oversee my spirit; you redeemed me, O Yah Veh El of truth.
6 I hate them who regard vain vanities and I confide in Yah Veh;
7 I cheer and twirl in your mercy for you see my humiliation; you know my soul in tribulations.
8 And you shut me not in the hand of the enemy; you stand my feet in an expanse:
9 grant me charism, O Yah Veh, for I tribulate; my eye, my soul and my belly are motheaten with vexation.
10 For my life is finished off with grief and my years with sighing; my force falters because of my perversity and my bones are motheaten.
11 I am a reproach among all my tribulators and mighty among my fellow tabernaclers and a dread to those I know; they who see me outside flee from me.
12 I am forgotten as one dead of heart - as an instrument that destructs:
13 for I hear the slander of many; terror surrounds as they set counsel against me: they intrigue to take my soul.
14 And I - I confide in you, O Yah Veh; I say, You are my Elohim.
15 My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies - from them who pursue me:
16 light your face on your servant; save me for sake of your mercies:
17 shame me not, O Yah Veh; for I call on you: shame the wicked to hush in sheol;
18 mute the false lips who with pomp and disrespect word impudence against the just.
19 How great is your goodness which you treasure for them who awe you; which you work for them who seek refuge in you in front of the sons of humanity.
20 Hide them in the covert of your face from the pride of man; hide them in a sukkoth/brush arbor from the strife of tongues.
21 Blessed - Yah Veh; for he shows me his marvellous mercy in a city with rampart.
22 And I - I say in my haste, I am cut off in front of your eyes! - surely you hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to you.
23 O love Yah Veh, all you his mercied; Yah Veh guards the trustworthy and shalams the pompous worker.
24 Prevail! and he strengthens your heart, all you who await Yah Veh.
32 1 By David; On Comprehension. Blithe - he whose rebellion is lifted; whose sin is covered:
2 Blithe - humanity to whom Yah Veh fabricates not perversity and in whose spirit is no deceit.
3 When I hush, my bones become worn through my roaring all day long:
4 when by day and night your hand is heavy on me; my moisture turns into the parch of summer. Selah.
5 My sin, you know; and my perversity, I covered not: I say, I spread hands for my rebellions to Yah Veh; and you lift the perversity of my sin. Selah.
6 For this all the mercied pray to you in a time of finding you; surely in the overflowing of great waters they touch him not.
7 You are my covert; you guard me from tribulation: you surround me with shouts of escape. Selah.
8 I have you discern and teach you the way to go; I counsel you with my eye.
9 Be not as the horse or as the mule who discern not; whose mouth is muzzled with bit and bridle lest they come near to you.
10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked; as for him who confides in Yah Veh, mercy surrounds him.
11 Cheer in Yah Veh and twirl, you just; and shout, all you straight in heart.
33 1 Shout in Yah Veh, O you just; for halal befits the straight:
2 spread hands to Yah Veh with harp; psalm to him with bagpipe and decachord:
3 sing to him a new song; strum well-pleasingly with a blast.
4 For the word of Yah Veh is straight; and all his works trustworthy:
5 he loves justness and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of Yah Veh.
6 By the word of Yah Veh were the heavens worked; and all their host by the spirit/wind of his mouth:
7 he gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he gives treasuries in the abyss.
8 All in the earth, awe Yah Veh; all settled in the world, dodge him.
9 For he says, and so be it; he misvahs, and it stands.
10 Yah Veh voids the counsel of the goyim; he annuls the fabrications of the people:
11 the counsel of Yah Veh stands eternal; the fabrications of his heart generation to generation.
12 Blithe - the goyim whose Elohim is Yah Veh; and the people whom he chose for his own inheritance.
13 Yah Veh sees from the heavens; he beholds all the sons of humanity:
14 from the establishment of his settlement he peers on all who settle on the earth:
15 he forms their hearts together; he discerns all their works.
16 Neither is the sovereign saved by the abundance of valour; nor the mighty rescued by the abundance of force.
17 A horse is a falsehood for salvation; he rescues not by his great valour.
18 Behold, the eye of Yah Veh is on them who awe him - on them who await his mercy;
19 to rescue their soul from death and to enliven them in famine.
20 Our soul awaits Yah Veh; he is our help and our buckler.
21 For our heart cheers in him because we confide in his holy name.
22 May your mercy, O Yah Veh, be on us, according as we await you.
34 1 By David; when he alters his taste at the face of Abi Melech; who exiles him and he goes. 1 I bless Yah Veh at all times; his halal is continually in my mouth:
2 my soul halals in Yah Veh; the humble hear and cheer:
3 O greaten Yah Veh with me and exalt his name together.
4 I seek Yah Veh and he hears me - rescues me from all my terrors.
5 They look to him and sparkle; and their faces blushed not.
6 This humble one calls and Yah Veh hears and saves him from all his tribulations.
7 The angel of Yah Veh encamps around all who awe him; and rescues them.
8 O taste and see that Yah Veh is good; Blithe - the mighty who seek refuge in him.
9 Awe Yah Veh, you his holy; for there is no lack to them who awe him.
10 The whelps lack and famish; but they who seek Yah Veh lack not any good.
11 Come, you sons, hearken to me; I teach you the awe of Yah Veh.
12 What man desires life and loves days to see good?
13 Guard your tongue from evil and your lips from wording deceit:
14 turn from evil and work good; seek shalom and pursue it.
15 The eyes of Yah Veh are on the just and his ears to their cry.
16 The face of Yah Veh is against all who work evil, to cut off their memorial from the earth.
17 They cry and Yah Veh hears and rescues them from all their tribulations:
18 Yah Veh is near the crushed heart; and the contrite spirit he saves:
19 many are the evils of the just; Yah Veh rescues him from them all.
20 He guards all his bones; not one of them is broken.
21 Evil deathifies the wicked; and they who hate the just guilt.
22 Yah Veh redeems the soul of his servants and none who seek refuge in him guilts.
35 1 By David. Defend, O Yah Veh, from them who contend with me; fight them who fight me:
2 uphold with buckler and shield and rise for my help:
3 and draw the spear; shut up and confront them who pursue me; say to my soul, I am your salvation.
4 Shame them - shame them who seek my soul; they who fabricate me evil apostatize and blush:
5 they are as chaff at the face of the wind; and in overthrowing, the angel of Yah Veh overthrows them;
6 their way is dark and slippery; and the angel of Yah Veh pursues them.
7 For gratuitously they hide their net for me in a pit of ruin, which they gratuitously dig for my soul:
8 devastation comes on him such as he never knew; and the net he hid captures him; into that very devastation he falls.
9 My soul twirls in Yah Veh - rejoices in his salvation.
10 All my bones say, O Yah Veh, who is likened to you, who rescues the humble from him who is stronger than he? - yes, the humble and the needy from him who strips him?
11 Witnesses of violence rise; they ask me what I know not:
12 they shalam me evil for good to the bereaving of my soul.
13 And I, in their sickness, enrobe with saq; I humble my soul with fasting: and my prayer returns into my own bosom.
14 I walk as a friend or brother; I prostrate darkened, as one mourns for a mother.
15 And in my limping they cheer and gather together; the smiters gather against me and I know it not; they rip and hush not.
16 With profaners, jeerers at bakings, they gnash on me with their teeth.
17 Adonay, until when see you me? Restore my soul from their devastations - my only from the whelps.
18 I spread hands to you in the great congregation; I halal you among mighty people.
19 May not my enemies cheer over me falsely; - blink with the eye, who hate me gratuitously.
20 For they word not shalom; but fabricate words of deceit against them who rest in the land.
21 yes, they enlarge their mouth against me and say, Aha, aha, our eye sees!
22 You see, O Yah Veh; hush not. O Adonay, be not far from me.
23 Waken - waken to my judgment - to my defence, my Elohim and my Adonay.
24 Judge me, O Yah Veh my Elohim, according to your justness; that they not cheer over me:
25 that they not say in their hearts, Aha, aha, O soul! that they not say, We swallowed him!
26 Shame and blush them together who cheer at my evil; enrobe them with shame and dishonor who greaten against me:
27 that they who delight in my justness shout and cheer; yes, that they say continually, Yah Veh is greatened, who delights in the shalom of his servant.
28 And my tongue meditates of your justness and of your halal all the day long.
36 1 To His Eminence; by David the servant of Yah Veh. The rebellion of the wicked oracles within my heart; the dread of Elohim is not in front of his eyes:
