ALLOTMENT OF THE DAUGHTERS OF YISRA EL
And the heads of the fathers of the families of the sons of Gilad the son of Machir the son of Menash Sheh, of the families of the sons of Yoseph approach and word at the face of Mosheh and at the face of the hierarchs the heads of the fathers of the sons of Yisra El, 2 and they say, Yah Veh misvahed my adoni to give the land - an inheritance by pebble to the sons of Yisra El: and Yah Veh misvahed my adoni to give the inheritance of Seloph Had our brother to his daughters: 3 and they become women to any other sons of the scions of the sons of Yisra El, then their inheritance is taken from the inheritance of our fathers and added to the inheritance of the rod whereunto they are received: thus it is taken from the pebble of our inheritance: 4 and if it is the jubilee of the sons of Yisra El, then their inheritance is added to the inheritance of the rod whereunto they are received: thus their inheritance is taken away from the inheritance of the rod of our fathers. 5 And Mosheh misvahs the sons of Yisra El according to the mouth of Yah Veh, saying, The rod of the sons of Yoseph worded: 6 This is the word Yah Veh misvahs concerning the daughters of Seloph Had, saying, Let them be women of whom is good in their eyes; only that they be women to the family of the rod of their father: 7 thus the inheritance of the sons of Yisra El turns not around from rod to rod: for every man of the sons of Yisra El adheres to the inheritance of the rod of his fathers: 8 and let every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any rod of the sons of Yisra El, become woman to one of the family of the rod of her father, so that every man of the sons of Yisra El possesses the inheritance of his fathers. 9 Turn not the inheritance around from rod to rod; but every man of the rods of the sons of Yisra El adheres to his own inheritance. 10 As Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh, thus worked the daughters of Seloph Had: 11 for Machlah, Tirsah and Hoglah and Milchah and Noah, the daughters of Seloph Had, become women of the sons of their uncle: 12 and they become women of the families of the sons of Menash Sheh the son of Yoseph: and their inheritance remains in the rod of the family of their father. 13 These are the misvoth and the judgments, Yah Veh misvahed by the hand of Mosheh to the sons of Yisra El in the plains of Moab by Yarden near Yericho.
