Matthew 23

ECB(i) 1
THE PSEUDO RELIGION OF THE PHARISEES
Then Yah Shua speaks to the multitude and to his disciples, 2 wording, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in the cathedra of Mosheh: 3 so all - as much as ever they say to you to guard, guard and do; but after their works, do not: for they word, and do not: 4 for they bind heavy and oppressive burdens and place them on the shoulders of humanity; but they themselves will to not wag them with one of their fingers: 5 but they do all their works to be observed of humanity: they broaden their phylacteries and magnify the edges of their garments; 6 and befriend the preeminent resposings at suppers and the preeminent cathedras in the synagogues 7 and salutations in the markets; and to be called by humanity, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8
HONORARY TITLES RESERVED FOR DEITY
And you, neither call yourselves Rabbi: for one is your Rabbi - even the Messiah and all you are brothers: 9 nor call any man on the earth your father; for one is your Father - in the heavens: 10 nor be called tutors; for one is your tutor, even the Messiah. 11 But whoever is greatest among you becomes your minister: 12 and whoever exalts himself becomes humbled; and whoever humbles himself, exalts. 13
YAH SHUA DENOUNCES THE PHARISEES
But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you shut the sovereigndom of the heavens in front of humanity: for neither you enter nor allow those entering to enter. 14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you devour houses of widows and for a pretext make far out prayers: because of this you take the superabundant judgment. 15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you go all around the sea and the dry to make one proselyte, and whenever he becomes, you make him a double child of Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning more than yourselves. 16 Woe to You, you blind guides, who word, Whoever oaths in the nave, it is naught; but whoever oaths in the gold of the nave, is a debtor. 17 You fools and blind: for which is greater, The gold? Or the nave that hallows the gold? 18 And, Whoever oaths in the sacrifice altar, it is naught; but whoever oaths in the oblation thereon, is a debtor. 19 You fools and blind: for which is greater, The oblation? Or the sacrifice altar that hallows the oblation? 20 So whoever oaths in the sacrifice altar, oaths in it, and in all thereon: 21 and whoever oaths in the nave, oaths in it, and in him who settles therein: 22 and whoever oaths in the heavens, oaths in the throne of Elohim, and in him who sits thereon. 23 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and anise and kammon, and forsake the weightier matters of the torah - the judgment and the mercy and the trust: these you need to do and not forsake those undone. 24 You blind guides who strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. 25 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For outwardly you purify the cup and the platter; but inwardly they are full of plunder and unrestraint. 26 Blind Pharisee! First purify the inward cup and platter, so that it also becomes purified outwardly. 27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you are likened to whitewashed tombs which outwardly indeed manifest beauty but inwardly are full of dead bones and of all impurity. 28 Even thus indeed outwardly you also manifest as just unto humanity, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and torah violations. 29 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the tombs of the just; 30 and word, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we had not been communicants with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 So you witness to yourselves that you are the sons of them who murdered the prophets: 32 and you - you fulfill/shalam the measure of your fathers. 33 You serpents! You progeny of vipers! How can you flee the judgment of Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning? 34 Because of this, behold, I apostolize to you prophets and wise men and scribes: and of them, you slaughter and stake and of them, you scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city: 35 so that all the just blood poured on the earth comes upon you - from the blood of just Abel - to the blood of Zechar Yah son of Berech Yah whom you murdered between the nave and the sacrifice altar. 36 Amen! I word to you, All these come upon this generation. 37
YAH SHUA LAMENTS OVER YERU SHALEM
O, Yeru Shalem! Yeru Shalem! - you who slaughter the prophets and stone them apostolized to you! how often I willed to gather your children together - even in the manner a hen gathers her young under her wings - and you willed not! 38 Behold, your house is forsaken to you, desolate. 39 For I word to you, You never no way see me henceforth, until you say, Eulogized - he who comes in the name of Yah Veh.
