Mark 9

ECB(i) 1
THE METAMORPHOSIS OF YAH SHUA
And he words to them, Amen! I word to you, some of those standing here taste not of death until they see the sovereigndom of Elohim come in dynamis. 2 And after six days, Yah Shua takes Petros and Yaaqovos and Yahn with him and brings them to a high mountain alone: and he is metamorphosed in front of them: 3 and his raiment becomes gleaming - very white as snow as no fuller on earth can whiten them: 4 and Eli Yah with Mosheh appears to them and they talk with Yah Shua. 5 And Petros answers Yah Shua, wording, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and we make three tabernacles: one for you and one for Mosheh and one for Eli Yah. 6 - for he knows not what to speak for they are utterly frightened. 7 And so be it, a cloud overshadows them: and a voice from the cloud, words, This is my beloved Son! Hear him! 8 - and suddenly, as they look around they see no one any more but Yah Shua only with them. 9 And as they descend the mountain he charges them to declare to no one what they saw, except when the Son of humanity rises from the dead: 10 and they empower that word with themselves disputing what the rising from the dead means. 11 And they ask him, wording, Why word the scribes that Eli Yah must first come? 12 And he answers them, saying, Eli Yah indeed comes first and restores all; and how it is scribed of the Son of humanity to suffer much and be set at naught. 13 But I word to you, That Eli Yah indeed has come, and they did to him as much as they willed exactly as it is scribed of him. Malachi 4:5, 6 14
YAH SHUA CASTS OUT A DEMON
And he comes to his disciples and he sees a vast multitude around them; and the scribes disputing with them: 15 and straightway, when they see him, all the multitude is utterly astonished, and running to him salute him. 16 And he asks the scribes, What dispute you with them? 17 And one of the multitude answers, saying, Doctor, I bring my son to you who has a speechless spirit; 18 and wherever he overtakes him, he tears him: and he foams and gnashes with his teeth and withers away: and I spoke to your disciples to cast him out; and they cannot. 19 He answers him, wording, O trustless generation, Until when am I with you? Until when tolerate I you? Bring him to me. 20 And they bring him to him: and straightway, when he sees him, the spirit convulses him; and he falls on the soil and wallows foaming: 21 and he asks his father, How much time since this became him? And he says, Since childhood: 22 and often it has casts him into the fire and into the waters to destroy him: but if you can do aught, have a sympathetic spleen on us and help us. 23 Yah Shua says to him, If you can trust! All is possible to him who trusts. 24 And straightway the father of the child cries out and words with tears, Adonay, I trust! Help my trustlessness! 25 Yah Shua sees the multitude come running together and rebukes the impure spirit, wording to him, You speechless and deaf spirit, I order you, come from him and enter him no more. 26 And crying and convulsing him much it comes from him: and he becomes as one dead; so that many word, He is dead! 27 But Yah Shua overpowers him by the hand and lifts him and he rises. 28 And he comes into the house, and his disciples ask him privately, Why could not we cast him out? 29 And he says to them, This genos can come forth in naught, except by prayer and fasting. 30
YAH SHUA PROPHESIES HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION
And they depart from there and pass through Galiyl; and he wills that no one know: 31 for he doctrinates his disciples, and words to them, The Son of humanity is betrayed into the hands of men; and they slaughter him; and after he is slaughtered, the third day he rises. 32 - but they know not that rhema, and are awestricken to ask him. 33
THE FIRST ARE FINAL
And he goes to Kaphar Nachum: and being in the house he asks them, What reasoned you among yourselves on the way? 34 But they hush: for on the way they reasoned among one another who is the greatest. 35 And he sits, and voices to the twelve, and words to them, If anyone wills to be first, the same becomes final of all, and minister of all. 36 And he takes a child and sets him in their midst: and he takes him in his arms, and he says to them, 37 Whoever receives one of such children in my name, receives me: and whoever receives me, receives not me, but him who apostolized me. 38 And Yahn answers him, wording, Doctor, we saw one casting out demons in your name; and he follows us not: and we forbad him because he follows us not. 39 But Yah Shua says, Forbid him not: for no one doing dynamis in my name, can quickly vilify me: 40 for whoever is not against us is on our part. 41
NEVER SCANDALIZE
For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you belong to Messiah, Amen! I word to you, he loses not his reward: 42 and whoever scandalizes one of these little ones who trust in me, it is good for him to hang a millstone around his neck, and cast him in the sea. 43
AMPUTATE WHEN NECESSARY
And whenever your hand scandalizes you, amputate: it is good for you to enter life maimed, rather than two hands go in Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning - into the fire unquenchable: 44 where their maggot dies not and the fire quenches not. 45 And whenever your foot scandalizes you, amputate: it is good for you to enter life lame, rather than two feet cast in Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning - in the fire unquenchable: 46 where their maggot dies not and the fire quenches not. 47 And whenever your eye scandalizes you, cast it out: it is good for you to enter the sovereigndom of Elohim one-eyed, rather than two eyes cast in Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning fire: 48 where their maggot dies not, and the fire quenches not. 49 For everyone is to be salted with fire and every sacrifice salted with salt: 50 salt is good: but whenever the salt becomes saltless, in what season you? Have salt in yourselves, and shalam one another.
