2 I loved you - an oracle of Yah Veh. Yet you say, Wherein loved you us? Was not Esav the brother of Yaaqov? says Yah Veh; Yet I loved Yaaqov:
3 and I hated Esav; and set his mountains and his inheritance waste for the monsters of the wilderness.
4 Because Edom says, We are impoverished, and we return and build the parched areas. Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: They build, and I break down; and they call them, The border of wickedness: and, The people against whom Yah Veh enrages eternally.
