ALLOTMENT OF THE LAND OF KENAAN And these are those the sons of Yisra El inherit in the land of Kenaan; which El Azar the priest and Yah Shua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers of the rods of the sons of Yisra El distribute for their inheritance: 2 their inheritance is by pebble, as Yah Veh misvahed by the hand of Mosheh for the nine rods and for the half rod. 3 For Mosheh gives the inheritance of two rods and a half rod beyond Yarden: and he gives no inheritance among the Leviym. 4 For the sons of Yoseph are two rods - Menash Sheh and Ephrayim: and they give no allotment to the Leviym in the land except cities to settle with their suburbs for the chattel they chatteled. 5 As Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh, thus the sons of Yisra El work and allot the land. 6
THE CLAIM OF KALEB Then the sons of Yah Hudah come near to Yah Shua in Gilgal: and Kaleb the son of Yephunneh the Qenaziy says to him, You know the word Yah Veh worded to Mosheh the man of Elohim concerning me and you in Qadesh Barnea. 7 I - a son of forty years when Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh sent me from Qadesh Barnea to spy the land; and I returned him word as it was in my heart: 8 and my brothers who ascended with me melted the heart of the people; but I fully followed after Yah Veh my Elohim. 9 And on that day, Mosheh oathed, saying, Surely the land whereon your feet trod the inheritance is yours and your sons, eternally because you followed after Yah Veh my Elohim. 10 And now behold, Yah Veh, as he worded, keeps me alive these forty-five years - since Yah Veh worded this word to Mosheh while Yisra El walked in the wilderness and now, behold, I am this day a son of eighty-five years. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as the day Mosheh sent me: as my force then, thus my force now; for war, to go and to come: 12 and now, give me this mountain, whereof Yah Veh worded in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anaqiy were there and that the cities were great and cut off: if so be, Yah Veh be with me and I dispossessed them as Yah Veh worded. 13 And Yah Shua blesses him and gives Kaleb the son of Yephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. 14 So Hebron becomes the inheritance of Kaleb the son of Yephunneh the Qenaziy to this day, because he fully followed after Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. 15 And the former name of Hebron was Qiryath Arba; - a great human among the Anaqiy. And the land rests from war.
