THE FALL OF DAMMESEQ AND SHOMERON
Yah Veh says to me, You, take a great roll; and inscribe therein with the stylus of a man concerning Mahers Halal Hash Baz. 2 And I witness trustworthy witnesses to record for me - Uri Yah the priest and Zechar Yah the son of Yeberech Yah: 3 and I approach the prophetess; and she conceives and births a son. Then Yah Veh says to me, Call his name Mahers Halal Hash Baz: 4 for ere the lad knows to call out, My father! and, My mother!, they lift the valuables of Dammeseq and the spoil of Shomeron from the face of the sovereign of Ashshur. 5 And Yah Veh adds to word to me, saying, 6 Because this people refuses the waters of Shiloach that come gently and in joy with Resin and the son of Remal Yah; 7 so, behold, Adonay ascends upon them the waters of the river, mighty and many, the sovereign of Ashshur and all his honor: and he ascends over all his reservoirs and goes over all his banks: 8 and he passes through Yah Hudah; he overflows and passes over; he touches to the neck: and the spreading of his wings fills the breadth of your land, O Immanu El. 9 Be broken, O you people - be broken; and hearken, all you of lands afar: gird, and be broken; gird, and be broken: 10 in counselling, counsel; and it breaks; word the word, and it rises not: for El is with us. 11 For thus Yah Veh says to me with a strong hand; and disciplines me to not walk in the way of this people, saying, 12 You, say not, Conspiracy, to all them to whom this people say, Conspiracy; neither awe their awesomeness, nor be awed. 13 Hallow Yah Veh Sabaoth himself to be your awe and to be your dread. 14 And he becomes for a holies; and for a stone of stubbing and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Yisra El for a snare; and for a snare to the settlers of Yeru Shalem: 15 and among them, many falter and fall - broken and snared and captured. 16 Bind up the witness, seal the torah among my disciples. 17 And I await Yah Veh who hides his face from the house of Yaaqov, and I await him. 18 Behold, I and the children Yah Veh gives me are for signs and for omens in Yisra El - from Yah Veh Sabaoth who tabernacles in mount Siyon. 19 And when they say to you, Seek to spiritists and to knowers who chirp and mutter: Seek a people not to their Elohim? - for the living to the dead? 20 To the torah and to the witness! If they say not according to this word it is because there is no dawn to them: 21 and they pass through, hardened and famished: and so be it, they famish; they enrage and abase their sovereign and their Elohim, and face upward: 22 and they look to the earth; and behold tribulation and darkness - darkness of distress; - expelled to darkness.
