For Yah Veh says thus to me, As the lion and the whelp meditate on his prey when a fulness of tenders call against him, he neither terrifies by their voice nor humbles himself for the multitude: thus Yah Veh Sabaoth descends to fight for mount Siyon and for the hill.
As birds flying, thus Yah Veh Sabaoth garrisons Yeru Shalem: and in garrisoning, he delivers; and passing over he rescues.
You, turn to him from whom the sons of Yisra El deepen revolt:
for in that day, every man spurns his idols of silver and his idols of gold - which your own hands worked to you, a sin:
and the Ashshuri fall with the sword, not of man; and the sword, not of humanity, consumes him: and he flees the face of the sword and his youths become vassals:
and he passes over to his rock from terror, and his governors dismay of the ensign - an oracle of Yah Veh whose flame is in Siyon and his furnace in Yeru Shalem.
