Isaiah 30

HO TO THE REVOLTING SONS
Ho to the revolting sons - an oracle of Yah Veh who work counsel, but not mine; and who pour a pouring, but not of my spirit, who scrape up sin to sin: 2 who walk to descend into Misrayim, and ask not at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the stronghold of Paroh, and to seek refuge in the shadow of Misrayim! 3 So the stronghold of Paroh becomes your shame; and the trust in the shadow of Misrayim your shame. 4 For his governors were at Soan and his angels touched Hanes: 5 they all shame by a people who benefit them not - neither a help nor benefit - but for shame and also for reproach. 6
THE BURDEN OF THE ANIMALS OF THE SOUTH
The burden of the animals of the south: Into the land of tribulation and distress from whence the roaring lion and the old lion, the hisser and flying seraph - who bear their valuables on the shoulders of colts and their treasures on the humps of camels to a people who benefit them not. 7 Yes, the Misrayim are vanity and help in vain: so concerning this, I call out, Their pride is to shabbathize! 8 Now go, inscribe it in front of them in a slab and engrave it in a scroll so that it become for the latter day eternally and eternally: 9 that this is a rebellious people - deceptive sons - sons who will to not hear the torah of Yah Veh: 10 who say to the seers, See not; and to the seers, See not straightforwardnesses to us; word smoothly to us; see delusions: 11 you, turn aside from the way; pervert from the path; shabbathize the Holy One of Yisra El from our face. 12 So the Holy One of Yisra El says thus, Because you spurn this word and confide in oppression and perverseness and lean thereon: 13 so this perversity is to you as a falling breach bulging out in a lofted wall - whose breaking comes suddenly in a blink. 14 And he breaks it as breaking the bag of the former - crushed; he spares not: so that no potsherd is found in the fracture thereof to take fire from the burning, or to strip water from the dugout. 15 For thus says Adonay Yah Veh the Holy One of Yisra El, In returning and rest you are saved; in resting and in confidence is your might: and you will not. 16 But you say, No; for we flee upon horses! - so you, flee: and, We ride upon the swift! - so your pursuers are swift. 17 One thousand at the face of the rebuke of one; at the face of the rebuke of five you flee: until you remain as a mast on the top of a mountain and as an ensign on a hill. 18 and so Yah Veh waits to grant you charism - he is exalted to mercy you: for Yah Veh is an Elohim of judgment: blithesome - all who await him. 19 For the people settle in Siyon at Yeru Shalem: in weeping, weep not: in granting charism, he grants you charism at the voice of your cry; when he hears, he answers you. 20 And Adonay gives you the bread of tribulation and the water of oppression; and your teachers withdraw no more and your eyes see your teachers: 21 and your ears hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk therein, when you turn to the right and the left. 22 And you foul the overlay of your sculptiles of silver and the ephod of your moltings of gold: you cast them away as a menstruous cloth; you say to it, Get you hence. 23 And he gives the rain of your seed to seed the soil; and bread of the produce of the soil; and it is fat and fattened: in that day, your chattel graze in enlarged meadows: 24 the oxen and the colts who serve the soil eat seasoned fodder winnowed with the winnowing fork and with the winnowing basket. 25 And so be it, on every lifted mountain and on every high hill, rivulets and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall: 26 and the light of the moon becomes as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun becomes sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day Yah Veh binds the breach of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound. 27 Behold, the name of Yah Veh comes from far burning with his wrath; and the burden is heavy: his lips fill with rage: and his tongue, as a consuming fire 28 and his spirit, as an overflowing wadi halve the neck, to sift the goyim with the sieve of vanity: and a bridle in the jaws of the people to stray them. 29 You are as a song in the night when a holy celebration is hallowed; and cheerfulness of heart as when one goes with a pipe to come into the mountain of Yah Veh, to the Rock of Yisra El. 30 And Yah Veh has his voice of majesty to be heard; and the resting of his arm to be seen with the rage of his wrath and the flame of a consuming fire - scattering and flood and hailstones. 31 For through the voice of Yah Veh the Ashshuri are beaten down - he smites with a scion. 32 And in every passage the founded rod passes, which Yah Veh rests upon him - with tambourines and harps: and in wars of waving, he fights with it. 33 For Topheth lined up since yesterday; yes, prepared for the sovereign; he deepens and enlarges: the fuel pile is fire and abounding timber; the breath of Yah Veh, as a wadi of sulphur, burns it.
