ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ and Yah Veh kindles his wrath against Yisra El and he gives them into the hand of Haza El sovereign of Aram and into the hand of Ben Hadad the son of Haza El all their days: ⁴ and Yah Achaz strokes the face of Yah Veh and Yah Veh hears him: for he sees the oppression of Yisra El because the sovereign of Aram oppresses them. ⁵ And Yah Veh gives Yisra El a saviour, so that they go from under the hand of the Aramiy: and the sons of Yisra El settle in their tents as three yesters ago: ⁶ only, they turn not aside from the sins of the house of Yarob Am by which he has Yisra El sin, wherein they walk: and the asherah also stands there in Shomeron. ⁷ And of the people of Yah Achaz he survives naught but fifty cavalry and ten chariots and ten thousand on foot; for the sovereign of Aram destroys them and sets them as the dust by threshing.
