AMAZ YAH REIGNS OVER YAH HUDAH
In the second year of Yah Ash son of Yah Achaz sovereign of Yisra El, reigns Amaz Yah the son of Yah Ash sovereign of Yah Hudah: 2 he is a son of twenty-five years when he begins to reign; and reigns twenty-nine years in Yeru Shalem: and the name of his mother, Yah Addan of Yeru Shalem. 3 And he works straight in the eyes of Yah Veh; only, not as David his father: he works according to all as Yah Ash his father works: 4 only, he turns not aside the bamahs: the people still sacrifice and incense on the bamahs. 5 And so be it, when the sovereigndom is strong in his hand he smites his servants who smote the sovereign his father: 6 but he deathifies not the sons of the smiters - as inscribed in the scroll of the torah of Mosheh; wherein Yah Veh misvahed, saying, Neither deathify the fathers for the sons, nor deathify the sons for the fathers; but deathify every man for his own sin. 7 He smites ten thousand of Edom in Gay Melach/Valley of Salt and apprehends the rock by war and calls the name of it Yoqthe El to this day. 8 Then Amaz Yah sends angels to Yah Ash son of Yah Achaz son of Yah Hu sovereign of Yisra El, saying, Come! See one another in the face! 9 And Yah Ash the sovereign of Yisra El sends to Amaz Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, saying, The thorn in Lebanon sends to the cedar in Lebanon, saying, Give your daughter to my son to woman: and a live being of the field passes by in Lebanon and tramples the thorn: 10 in smiting, you smote Edom and your heart lifts you: be honored and settle at your house: for why coax you to evil only, to fall - you and Yah Hudah with you? 11 And Amaz Yah hearkens not: and Yah Ash sovereign of Yisra El ascends; and he and Amaz Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah see one another in the face at Beth Shemesh, Yah Hudah: 12 and Yah Hudah is smitten at the face of Yisra El; and every man flees to his tent. 13 And Yah Ash sovereign of Yisra El apprehends Amaz Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah the son of Yah Ash the son of Achaz Yah at Beth Shemesh; and comes to Yeru Shalem and breaks the wall of Yeru Shalem from the portal of Ephrayim to the corner portal - four hundred cubits: 14 and he takes all the gold and silver and all the instruments he finds in the house of Yah Veh and in the treasures of the house of the sovereign - and sons as pledges; and returns to Shomeron. 15 And the rest of the words Yah Ash worked and his might and how he fought with Amaz Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah; are they not inscribed in the scroll of the words of the days of the sovereigns of Yisra El? 16 And Yah Ash lies down with his fathers entombed in Shomeron with the sovereigns of Yisra El; and Yarob Am his son reigns in his stead. 17 And Amaz Yah the son of Yah Ash sovereign of Yah Hudah lives after the death of Yah Ash son of Yah Achaz sovereign of Yisra El fifteen years. 18 And the rest of the words of Amaz Yah, are they not inscribed in the scroll of the words of the days of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah? 19 And they conspire a conspiracy against him in Yeru Shalem: and he flees to Lachish; and they send after him to Lachish and deathify him there: 20 and they lift him on horses and entomb him at Yeru Shalem with his fathers in the city of David. 21
AZAR YAH REIGNS OVER YAH HUDAH
And all the people of Yah Hudah take Azar Yah - a son of sixteen years to reign in the stead of his father Amaz Yah. 22 He builds Eloth and restores it to Yah Hudah, after the sovereign lies down with his fathers. 23
YAROB AM REIGNS OVER YAH HUDAH
In the fifteenth year of Amaz Yah the son of Yah Ash sovereign of Yah Hudah, Yarob Am the son of Yah Ash sovereign of Yisra El begins to reign in Shomeron forty-one years: 24 and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh: he turns not aside from all the sins of Yarob Am the son of Nebat who had Yisra El to sin. 25 He restores the border of Yisra El from the entering of Hamath to the sea of the plain according to the word Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El worded by the hand of his servant Yonah the son of Amittay the prophet, of Gathhepher. 26 For Yah Veh sees the humiliation of Yisra El, - mighty rebelling: for neither are any finally restrained nor any finally left nor any helper for Yisra El. 27 And Yah Veh words not to wipe out the name of Yisra El from under the heavens: but he saves them by the hand of Yarob Am the son of Yah Ash. 28 And the rest of the words of Yarob Am and all he works and his might and how he fights and how he returns Dammeseq and Hamath to Yah Hudah for Yisra El: are they not inscribed in the scroll of the words of the days of the sovereigns of Yisra El? 29 And Yarob Am lies down with his fathers the sovereigns of Yisra El; and Zechar Yah his son reigns in his stead.
