No one is good, except God alone. ¹⁹ You know the commandments: ‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, you shall not defraud, you shall honor your father and mother.’” ²⁰ And he was saying to Him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.” ²¹ And Jesus, having looked upon him, loved him and said to him, “One thing to you is lacking: Go, sell as much as you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” ²² And having been sad at the word, he went away grieving; for he was one having many possessions.
