66 And when it became day, the elderhood of the people were gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led Him into their council, saying,
67 “If You are the Christ, tell us.” And He said to them, “If I should tell you, you would not believe,
68 and if I should ask you, you would not answer.
69 But from now on the Son of Man will be sitting at the right hand of the power of God.”
70 And they all said, “Are You then the Son of God?” And He was saying to them, “You say that I am.”
71 And they said, “What need do we have of any more witness? For we ourselves have heard it from His mouth.”
23 1 And having risen up, all the multitude of them led Him to Pilate.
2 And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation, and forbidding tribute to be given to Caesar, and declaring Himself to be Christ, a king.”
3 And Pilate questioned Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” And answering him, He was saying, “You say.”
4 And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no guilt in this man.”
5 But they kept insisting, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all of Judea, and He has begun from Galilee even to here.”
