Mark 5:25-43

BIB(i) 25 Καὶ (And) γυνὴ (a woman), οὖσα (being) ἐν (with) ῥύσει (a flux) αἵματος (of blood) δώδεκα (twelve) ἔτη (years), 26 καὶ (and) πολλὰ (much) παθοῦσα (having suffered) ὑπὸ (under) πολλῶν (many) ἰατρῶν (physicians), καὶ (and) δαπανήσασα (having spent) τὰ (the) παρ’ (of) αὐτῆς (her) πάντα (all), καὶ (and) μηδὲν (in no way) ὠφεληθεῖσα (having benefited), ἀλλὰ (but) μᾶλλον (rather) εἰς (to) τὸ (the) χεῖρον (worse) ἐλθοῦσα (having come), 27 ἀκούσασα (having heard) 〈τὰ〉 (-) περὶ (concerning) τοῦ (-) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus), ἐλθοῦσα (having come up) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ὄχλῳ (crowd) ὄπισθεν (behind), ἥψατο (she touched) τοῦ (the) ἱματίου (clothing) αὐτοῦ (of Him). 28 ἔλεγεν (She was saying) γὰρ (for) ὅτι (-), “Ἐὰν (If) ἅψωμαι (I shall touch) κἂν (even) τῶν (the) ἱματίων (garments) αὐτοῦ (of Him), σωθήσομαι (I will be healed).” 29 καὶ (And) εὐθὺς (immediately) ἐξηράνθη (was dried up) ἡ (the) πηγὴ (flow) τοῦ (of the) αἵματος (blood) αὐτῆς (of her), καὶ (and) ἔγνω (she knew) τῷ (in the) σώματι (body) ὅτι (that) ἴαται (she was healed) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) μάστιγος (affliction). 30 Καὶ (And) εὐθὺς (immediately) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), ἐπιγνοὺς (having known) ἐν (in) ἑαυτῷ (Himself) τὴν (the) ἐξ (out of) αὐτοῦ (Him) δύναμιν (power) ἐξελθοῦσαν (having gone forth), ἐπιστραφεὶς (having turned) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ὄχλῳ (crowd), ἔλεγεν (said), “Τίς (Who) μου (of Me) ἥψατο (touched) τῶν (the) ἱματίων (garments)?” 31 Καὶ (And) ἔλεγον (were saying) αὐτῷ (to Him) οἱ (the) μαθηταὶ (disciples) αὐτοῦ (of Him), “Βλέπεις (You see) τὸν (the) ὄχλον (crowd) συνθλίβοντά (pressing in on) σε (You), καὶ (and) λέγεις (say You), ‘Τίς (Who) μου (Me) ἥψατο (touched)?’” 32 Καὶ (And) περιεβλέπετο (He was looking around) ἰδεῖν (to see) τὴν (the one) τοῦτο (this) ποιήσασαν (having done). 33 ἡ (-) δὲ (And) γυνὴ (the woman), φοβηθεῖσα (having been frightened) καὶ (and) τρέμουσα (trembling), εἰδυῖα (knowing) ὃ (what) γέγονεν (had been done) αὐτῇ (to her), ἦλθεν (came) καὶ (and) προσέπεσεν (fell down before) αὐτῷ (Him) καὶ (and) εἶπεν (told) αὐτῷ (Him) πᾶσαν (all) τὴν (the) ἀλήθειαν (truth). 34 Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) εἶπεν (He said) αὐτῇ (to her), “Θυγάτηρ (Daughter), ἡ (the) πίστις (faith) σου (of you) σέσωκέν (has healed) σε (you); ὕπαγε (go) εἰς (in) εἰρήνην (peace) καὶ (and) ἴσθι (be) ὑγιὴς (sound) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) μάστιγός (affliction) σου (of you).” 35 Ἔτι (While yet) αὐτοῦ (He) λαλοῦντος (is speaking), ἔρχονται (they come) ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (the) ἀρχισυναγώγου (ruler of synagogue’s house), λέγοντες (saying) ὅτι (-), “Ἡ (The) θυγάτηρ (daughter) σου (of You) ἀπέθανεν (is dead); τί (why) ἔτι (still) σκύλλεις (trouble you) τὸν (the) διδάσκαλον (Teacher)?” 36 Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), παρακούσας (having heard) τὸν (the) λόγον (word) λαλούμενον (spoken), λέγει (says) τῷ (to the) ἀρχισυναγώγῳ (ruler of the synagogue), “Μὴ (Not) φοβοῦ (fear); μόνον (only) πίστευε (believe).” 37 καὶ (And) οὐκ (not) ἀφῆκεν (He allowed) οὐδένα (no one) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him) συνακολουθῆσαι (to follow), εἰ (if) μὴ (not) τὸν (-) Πέτρον (Peter) καὶ (and) Ἰάκωβον (James) καὶ (and) Ἰωάννην (John) τὸν (the) ἀδελφὸν (brother) Ἰακώβου (of James). 38 Καὶ (And) ἔρχονται (they come) εἰς (to) τὸν (the) οἶκον (house) τοῦ (of the) ἀρχισυναγώγου (ruler of the synagogue), καὶ (and) θεωρεῖ (He beholds) θόρυβον (a commotion), καὶ (and) κλαίοντας (weeping) καὶ (and) ἀλαλάζοντας (wailing) πολλά (much). 39 καὶ (And) εἰσελθὼν (having entered), λέγει (He says) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Τί (Why) θορυβεῖσθε (make you commotion) καὶ (and) κλαίετε (weep)? τὸ (The) παιδίον (child) οὐκ (not) ἀπέθανεν (is dead), ἀλλὰ (but) καθεύδει (sleeps).” 40 καὶ (And) κατεγέλων (they were laughing at) αὐτοῦ (Him). Αὐτὸς (He) δὲ (then), ἐκβαλὼν (having put out) πάντας (all), παραλαμβάνει (takes with Him) τὸν (the) πατέρα (father) τοῦ (of the) παιδίου (child), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) μητέρα (mother), καὶ (and) τοὺς (those) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him), καὶ (and) εἰσπορεύεται (enters in) ὅπου (where) ἦν (was) τὸ (the) παιδίον (child). 41 καὶ (And) κρατήσας (having taken) τῆς (the) χειρὸς (hand) τοῦ (of the) παιδίου (child), λέγει (He says) αὐτῇ (to her), “Ταλιθὰ (Talitha), κούμ (koum)!” ὅ (Which) ἐστιν (is), μεθερμηνευόμενον (translated), Τὸ (-) “Κοράσιον (Little girl), σοὶ (to you) λέγω (I say), ἔγειρε (arise)!” 42 καὶ (And) εὐθὺς (immediately) ἀνέστη (arose) τὸ (the) κοράσιον (girl) καὶ (and) περιεπάτει (began walking); ἦν (she was) γὰρ (for) ἐτῶν (of years) δώδεκα (twelve). καὶ (And) ἐξέστησαν (they were overcome) εὐθὺς (immediately) ἐκστάσει (with amazement) μεγάλῃ (great). 43 καὶ (And) διεστείλατο (He instructed) αὐτοῖς (them) πολλὰ (strictly) ἵνα (that) μηδεὶς (no one) γνοῖ (should know) τοῦτο (this); καὶ (and) εἶπεν (He commanded) δοθῆναι (to be given) αὐτῇ (to her) φαγεῖν (to eat).
